By all accounts Gravenberch didn't have a good season, and is he really the type of midfielder they need?
Bayern are using this to fund Paulinha, who would actually be the ideal player for the scousers.

Fact is yes, they've missed their top targets, but they've moved on quickly to other options in order to make sure they aren't short. I have no problem for aiming high and missing out. I have a problem with aiming high, missing out, and then doing fuck all about it for 6 months.

They've bought someone who
a) doesn't even match what they need in gravenberch.
b) has been poor for bayern.
I'm not sure how you go from lavia/caicedo to gravenberch.
I'd rather we promoted the youth than bought the wrong type of player. We've done that too many times.
It actually feels like they are buying for the sake of it.

True but Gravenberch may come good. Could be similar to us signing Bentancur or Deki.
The fact is they are not settling.

Bentancur and deki played at a higher level, and more regularly at international level. They also combined cost the same as gravenberch.
It's a massive risk. If Liverpool were not settling, they would have gone for Paulinha. Instead they are taking a punt on a struggling Dutch player from the bundesliga.

They cost the same 18 months ago. Long time in football transfer fees. Also how many times are these 2 gonna get brought up ffs?? It’s like once in a blue moon. VDV esc transfer in reality. And also I might add Kulu in my eyes isn’t anywhere near as good as his second half of his first season. So who knows what the real Kulu is gonna become. Think Bents is a star tho. Hopefully he will get back to his best as Kulu
