Why do i have a feeling in my kidneys that a lot of teams in the PL are going to switch to 3 at the back because its trendy or they think it's a magic bullet? :bag:

It's already happened for a lot of sides. Every few years a formation gets rehashed as being the next big thing. Remember when two strikers was standard? Then suddenly it's all about one up top etc

I long for a return to the 5/6 forwards that was apparently all the rage back in the 50's!

Not trawlled through, but are people saying Jose doesnt deserve his transfer budget?
His porto and Inter achievements says otherwise.

Unfortunatley more likely to than us

Ah, i see you're preparing to annoint them as champions-elect again this transfer window. Shame they're not playing Barca, I suppose if they beat Bayern that'll be reason enough for you to lose your mind.

*edit* Think I have you mixed up with hoops, oops.

No, you think they'll sign players with better 'reputations'. That doesn't mean they'll end-up as better players, otherwise we wouldn't have finished 2nd and them 4th, nor would we have finished above them 7 times out of the last 8 seasons.

We've signed multiple players with lesser reputations in the last few seasons that have ended up being better than most anyone else have bought.

They also need more than us considering how they barely scraped 4th with no European commitments. And to be honest only Mane would get into our current team. In addition they have a bigger budget and lot higher wage cap than we do at the moment so obviously they have some pull there. You also upset when City, Arsenal or United spend more than us?

Don't think we would touch Sturridge.

Pool supporters have been saying that even if he wasn't constantly hurt that he has no interest in taking part in Klopp's pressing.

Can't see us being all that interested in a striker who is constantly broken down and doesn't put in a full shift when he is on the pitch.

During the cup final at the weekend one of the commentators said, it was either the first ever cup final or the first one at wembley, that both teams had a 2-2-6 formation, and the game still only finished 1-0.

Nothing officially done but are believed to be clost to signing Frank Kessie & Riccardo Rodriquez.
Bump. James Horncastle, Serie A writer for ESPN and the Guardian, says Kessie is having his medical at AC today. They already signed Mussachio. Nothing on Rodriguez so far.
