Few reports from France that PSG are open to selling Neymar. Apparently they’ve grown tired of his ever increasing ego and unprofessionalism. Could be bad news for Griezmann if Messi gets his wish to get him back to Barca.

I know that Edu (of Arsenal fame) while he was director of the Brazil team, accidentally called Neymar a child.

He wasn't even having a go at him, he was just stating a fact that they needed to keep an eye on Neymar because he had the maturity of a "child". Then he realised what he had said in front of the media and had to back-track.

To be honest, it's not surprising. Most of these kids have had no education and the boring day-to-day crap that most of us have to deal with, is done for them by agents/advisors/helpers. There's very little personal development.

So it's no real surprise that you get players like Neymar, Pogba, Ballottelli and so on.

PSG could do a lot worse than to sell Neymar and replace him with Griezmann

I could see them trying to get Coutinho in a mega-swap. Midfield creativity has been their problem rather than goals. If they play Coutinho in AM rather than off the left, he could have a field day servicing Mbappe.

Didn't the chairman of A. Madrid say that the deal was done in March? Hence Griezman's going away video

Think he said it was an open secret that he would be going to Barca. Don’t know how final that is.

Looks like Atletico have got Joao Felix for 100m euros. Their replacements for superstar strikers usually work out:

Torres >Augero> Forlan >Falcao> Costa> Griezmann...

Their striker scouting is crazy good.

€100m for a teenager from Portugal :depressed:

I don't care how good it looks like he might be, that is sickening.

It's incredible how they successfully replace strikers.

I really hope Simeone opens things up a bit and makes then more expansive.

Man Utd reckoned to now be favourites for signing Lo Celso according to most reports. All I will say is that if he does go there instead of joining us surely something is amiss regarding our negotiating tactics ??. The guy is Argentinian and would be coming to work for the best Argentinian club manager there is...he would be playing in Champions League next season guaranteed...he would be playing in the best club stadium in the world and for a team that is catapulting itself into the elite of Europe with a Chairman fully prepared to commit the finances necessary to maintain that status (said the last bit with fingers crossed behind my back )
Surely it's a no brainer...so if he does go to Old Trafford I'll be a monkey's uncle....:X3::X3:

You do make me laugh...I haven't got Sky (God forbid) but must admit to surfing the transfer rumours websites...be honest..who doesn't ?...What is your opinion of the situation then....how confident are you that he'll be with us ? I'd be interested to know your viewpoint.

I try not to pay much attention to transfer rumours, I find the summer you tend to get loads of fabricated stories which are clearly made up by various media sources designed to take advantage of fans anxiety's and anxiousness when in truth don't have a feking clue themselves.

What's more I find the constant pessimism of our fan base who clearly don't understand how transfers work irritating because literally every time a story appears someone needs to have a pop at the club in order to fuel their hate-filled negativity and mindset towards the club and our chairman.

So I'm not going to get my nickers in the twist every time there's some sort of negative rumour about a player that we knew absolutely nothing about 2 weeks ago that now we're apparently after hence the need to chill out. If you read between the lines and ignore the shitty sources you tend to get a clearer picture so in regards to this potential transfer I don't see why there's anything concerning, just got to wait.

True enough.

Things can change so fast as well; if a journalist has a genuine piece of information and a story gets posted online because of the info, an agent/player/chairman can WhatsApp a relevant party in the transfer talks within 30 seconds of that story going 'live' and the whole situation changes again.

But the news outlet are still going to be promoting 'old news' for days, despite the fact that things have moved on.

And because there are literally 1000s of transfer negotiations taking place across Europe right now, there's no way that media outlets have the ability to keep up with all (or even a fraction) of them.

Its not scouting if you take a closer look at who was calling the shots at Atletico, you notice that the scouting department was the ones bringing in the players, it was a third party company who had a large say in the club
