Apparently Real Madrid are close to another signing. Takefusa Kubo who is a famous FIFA wonderkid. No idea how good he'll be but an interesting transfer if true.
Have a read of the Real Madrid thread....I put an article on there....they signed him for 2m
There are two threads in here dedicated to just news about Barcelona and Real Madrid (y)

Impact on us in anyway?

'Sounding optimistic we could have at least one in next week.

I would expect it to be Rodri.

Don't count out de Ligt just yet. The player has asked again about Pep and City.

There are hurdles (some are more obvious than others)

He's feeling the pressure a little in terms of all the interest. Worryingly, Liverpool have also started some sort of charm offensive.

Maguire is considered at least £20m too expensive and doesn't represent the value we want from making City's next centre half the most expensive in the world.

Mino certainly has food for thought.

If Leroy goes, Felix comes. Zinchenko and Walker new deals to be announced when they return.

Muric wanted on loan by two Premier League clubs.

Don't think Otamendi is leaving as things stand, maybe Vinny going has changed that.

No real update on Leroy. Bravo staying for final year'

That or Iran sponsored Yemini’s completely fuck them and their trouble making neighbours up, the better too. Hideous, hideous backwards cretins of owners. That royal family and associates are possibly the most disgusting group of people walking the earth right now.

Sounds familiar :cautious:

I would think Solskjaer would be pretty happy with offloading him and Lukaku and both seem quite keen to leave. Whilst on paper they may be seen as Utd's best players they will bring in £200m+ which he can invest in players more fitting with his ethos.

They can definitely attract better than lukaku. Pogba has so much talent but his ego is detrimental to United.
Lukaku is a decent player, albeit limited. His problem is when his confidence is shot he disappears for weeks at a time.

That's what makes me laugh about when people used to compare him to Harry. Even when Kane has goalless spells, which is rare, he will still do the hard work dropping deep and linking up play. Lukaku just stands there like a 6'3 statue.

I don’t get the hate for Pogba, I like the guy - especially after all the stuff with his dad.

Guess I’m not a gammon yer da though.

I think Pogba at Real would see him flourish. Surround him with the level of talent they always have and with the backing of Zidane and i think he would be a lights out player.

But i don't know that United would be smart about the re-investment. Woodward would just want to splash cash for the sake of splashing cash and i think United end up overpaying for players that ultimately may not be the best fit for OGS or his inevitable replacement.
