They are making that investment secured by the stadium , an investment they know that they will get back in spades when the club is sold . This is a working capital investment to secure a once in a lifetime opportunity which in turn if successful will enchance the value of the club even more,its a no brainer they cant lose as the money will be repaid and if it makes the team champions then the value on sale will increase greatly.
