The goal difference is one of the most impressive things, only scored 3 more, but have conceded 12 less.
Hadn't noticed it was that big a difference! Conceding 12 less goals in 17 games is pretty good going.

Sounds like we've got a tough run coming up if we aren't going to lose ground on last year.
He is how things stand at the moment, using last season's results to take us up to 38 games:

Interesting to note, this is the first time this season we are now forecast to finish above Chelsea, despite them winning their last game.
Also the gain/loss for the season so far:

Another thing to note, whilst Arsenal may be looking like they have a good chance at the title, they're only 2 points up from last season. They're currently forecast a total of 77 points, which last season would have still seen them finish third.

Still on +6pts (Current projection: 70pts) after Norwich. Win at Watford would be +8pts with projection of 72pts.
eh?Worth noting that we're only two points ahead of our total after 18 games last season, and a way behind what Southampton were on at the same stage.
The context is different though, as the results this year suggest the quality in the league has concertinaed, meaning each point to be eked for the clubs which were already strong is that much harder, which is in an equal and opposite degree to the effect for the clubs which were weak. To maintain and improve not only our relative position, but also our absolute position is actually an achievement. Always assuming it's not random (it's not; you can visibly see we're playing well).

If you meant last season then Southampton were on the same points and goal difference as us at this stage (18 played, 32pts, +17gd). Oddly with the same number of goals for and against, but they had thrashed Sunderland 8-0.
Maybe I misremembered it then, I had a look last night, but then posted this morning. Just looked it up again. Chelsea were on 45, City 42, and Utd on 35, and Southampton, as you say, on 32.
Mate, you've misunderestimated me if you think I don't mean what I say... say what I meant... mean. There's a saying in Hackney, "Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again." Basically what I'm saying is you teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.
Man, I'm so smart I could be the leader of the free world one day, if I could only find an electorate dumb enough to elect me.

So win 8w, 8d, 2L so far we need to get for the rest of the season 12W, 2D and 6L to equal last season's results.
Bigger problem is the GD - we currently have +17 so only need +3 from that the rest of the games suggesting we might improve GD over last season.
Tough ask to improve much on the 12 more wins, maybe easier to get a few more points by converting some of the losses to draws
Has anyone won 6 games in a row yet this season?Win at Watford pushes us to...
Total: +8pts
Current projection: 72pts
We now enter a period of three games that we won last season, can we match that before the next opportunity add further points?
Everton (a) – W
Leicester (h) – W
Sunderland (h) – W
Palace (a) – L
City and arse have come closest with 5.Has anyone won 6 games in a row yet this season?
