Neither I just think people need to realise that they're talking nonsense really and it's a complete and utter myth. The only time he's fielded a weakened team was against Dortmund, unless you can tell me what other times he's done that then I don't see an issue.

The only time he's fielded a weakened team was against Dortmund? Don't make me laugh. He's done it twice this calendar year.

Wycombe, 9 changes to the team http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38700672
Villa, 8 changes to the team http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38481612

Technically he probably was but didnt put in the shift Harry does

Yeah, but he could have just been nice about Kane instead of avoiding questions. It's like he was jealous of Kanes popularity.

And fuck him anyway. He went on strike and will never have that popularity as a result. I still liked him but not as sure now, came across as an asshole today.

If we get the semis I wonder if the matches we've played at Wembley this season could see us have a bit of a home advantage. Could see Jose moaning about it if we play United...

Don't you know he'll find something to moan about no matter who they play?

I agree with those saying Winks needs to take Dembele's place in the side. With his passing ability we can utilise the likes of Eriksen and actually have some creativity in the side

Once again when Eriksen has had a good game, we have won comfortably. He was very quiet against Liverpool and Gent, hence the losses. He's the most important player in terms of the rest of our season.
In any variation on 4-2-3-1 he is our only creative player so why is this a surprise.

Harry Winks was awesome again today.

He keps it so simple. When the space is tight, he rarely holds on to ball and finds a quick pass or spreads the play out wide to stretch teams. When he has the ball, doesn't stands still. He moves forward with the ball when he has space ahead. He is always there for the ball. In odd occasitions he does goes forward & makes himself available in final third.

He usually is 7/10 , today was 9/10. Some of his passing range was marvellous today.
IMO, on current form, he has got to start ahead of Dembele even in PL.

Dembele for some reason hasn't been at his imperious best. Winks isn't a pushover and can stake his claim for a starting spot.
I couldn't imagine ever saying someone should be in the team ahead of Dembele. After all, Mousa has been the one to hold the ball up and make the intelligent pass, yet Winks has managed to do this, and also be more mobile and available. So surprisingly, (to me anyway), I would agree in putting him in ahead of Mousa at the moment.

Berbatov will never enjoy the adulation the likes of Kane will in years to come. At any club he played for.

Kane will feature way, way, way above Dimi in the pantheon of Spurs greats.

Wycombe... Arsenal last year in the league cup, Liverpool league cup, some of our champions league games where we embarrassed ourselves and so on...

Dembele is amazing when in beast form, absolutely phenomenal player imo.

However, when he's under par, like he's been recently and sporadically here and there this season, you can't help think those long term niggling injuries play a big part.

I think Winks has to play alongside side Wanyama, it's a lovely balance and especially at home against lower table opposition.

For me the selection issue would be Son or Dembele in the three behind Kane.

Obviously when Rose returns, and assuming we revert to three at the back, then the it will only be one spot beside Wanyama that will need to be decided - imo anyway.

In the bigger games, and away from home, I'd play Dembele instead of Son if we're playing 4-2-3-1. And at home I'd maybe go with the more direct Son.

Anyway, it's good to have these options.

Nothing about the 4-2-3-1? ;)

I think having Verts back means it works better, however, I still think against better opposition we will struggle to make chances and be effective in attack with this formation.

The sooner Rose gets back the better as well, I don't think there is any doubt that we play better with 3 at the back, today was a good performance but I feel against better opposition we would still struggle lined up like this, like we did earlier in the season.
