Bummer, i should have about 140 by the time the potential of a semi arises.

(Oooo)

I'll have around that, maybe a few more if I get StubHub tickets for Everton and Southampton.

It's annoying because I never new last season you could claim loyalty points back on StubHub tickets. :(

The point wasn't about Sissoko, the point was about the absurdity of using a such a small sample (with respect this discussion one game or 2 games in Sissokos regard) as means to invalidate previous concerns and to close down future discussion.

There should be no concerns, that's my point because there's been hardly any evidence to support it.

There is numerous evidence to that effect ( he also did this at Southampton and was criticised for it) and this isn't just about weakened sides. It is also about excessive change/poor rotation, it is about prioritisation, it's about the culture that all of this creates. There has been a clear disconnect between our league and cup campaigns during this tenure. There is little sense in trying to deny that or attempting to close down the reasons for this.

No we're not going to consider his tenure at Southampton so let's not try and move the goalposts to fit your agenda as you're very good at doing that.

What matches have irked you in particular and what matches do you feel he wasn't justified in making so many changes?

Well played chaps. I missed most of the game as they were serving lobster in the club house but at least I made sure the person I was sat in front of had my seat right in their face. Bloody lower classes.

To anyone who went to the Pompey or Chelsea semi-finals at Wembley, what was our allocation, and what's the ticketing process?

I know we need to get there first, so im not getting too far ahead of myself but I've just realised I'm on holiday the semi-final weekend and I want to know roughly my chances of getting a ticket before I rearrange.

I know you asked this question in good faith...but we are going to lose now and it is all your fault. I hope you're proud of yourself.

Yeah, just sat on the bench in silence ;).

I agree though, he is key and the fact that we haven't got anyone else in the squad that can remotely challenge his position or do what he does in his absence is a poor reflection of our squad depth.

Also feel Eriksen himself often being quiet in big games where we need him to dominate is the main thing stopping him from joining the top
echelon of players.

Well... he was subbed on in the 2nd half ;)

On what basis should we discount and disregard his previous actions and conduct when these have been carried through and demonstrated at this club? And you may like to think you set and the control the parameters of the discussion ( the we can stop this discussion now line being a prime example of that) but you do not. It may be inconvenient evidence on your part but his previous conduct is a demonstration of his mindset.

As I said before there is a series of issues at play here. These issues have been demonstrated in the Leicester (both) Dortmund, Crystal Palace, Liverpool cup games to name a few. It is not just about playing weakened teams, it's about excessive changes, about an inability to apply an effective and balanced rotation policy. It is about his statements that tournaments such as the UEFA cup is a hinderance to the club. It is about the prioritisation if the league at the expense of the cups. As I stated there is a clear disconnect between tournaments. You may wish to ignore or deny this, good for you but some others won't.

After todays game my opinion is that if we play 4 at the back it should be Wanyama-Winks in the middfield and with 3 at the back then Wanyama-Dembele. No doubt Dembele is better player overall but Winks have qualities that makes our team more balanced in 4231.

We played some great football with Toby, Jan and Eric in defence, Walker, Rose on both sides and we should probably stick to it. But if we can't (beacuse of injuries) then it's Winks over Dembele for me.

And I have to say I have understimated importantce of Vertonghen for our team. And not only because he is beast in defence but maybe even primarily because he is just sooo better then Dier or even Toby with the ball. He don't panic if pressed, he can pass the ball, push as forward.

Oh, and we are shit if Eriksen have a bad game or isn't playing.

So what? He had a clear choice to make with Dortmund and he gambled on the league, which was fair enough. With Southampton, his remit was to keep the club in the Premiership. He can't rotate at will when some players aren't up to the job. In the end, he doesn't answer to you, thank God. I don't know the underlying reason for your line of argument, although I can take a guess.

Silly question .. I'm on an international membership and haven't got enough loyalty points . If we make the final what are my options ? Likely having to go to an independent ticket seller?

Also how do we claim back on stub hub? Thanks guys

There are a few omens. Last time we played Millwall in the cup - we won it in 1967.

50 year anniversary Spurs Chelsea final.

Year after Man Utd - Palace final in 1990 we won the cup.

When we have played Villa in the cup I think we have won it 5 times.

However I have been clutching at straws for 6 semi final defeats !!

Very surprised Janssen didn't come on for kane. One reason might be he isn't working hard enough in training

60m for sissoko Janssen N'Koudou makes me sad

So what? So it accounts for us failing to win anything in a decade despite having two of its best sides in this era. I love how some are so blase about this. And he didn't have a clear choice to make, that is the very point being made here. The Dortmund game was completely unnecessary just as when he played a weak ended team against Sunderland whilst at Southampton (who were comfortably in the top ten at the time) was completely unnecessary. But hey why should Southamptons supporters expect anything other than survival right? As for not answering to me, I really do understand such asinine statements, when was there ever an expectation that he would. This is an internet discussion board, it's a platform to discuss all of aspects of he club, not a means to change because it could never be a portal to do that. And It's quite clear what my motivation is, I want the club to prioritise silverware and it demonstrates just how warped the modern game is when so supporters many cannot understand this or see alterior motives behind it.
