Could Janssen really, REALLY do any worse?
I think he was finished with Pochettino from the moment he turned his nose up at the loan to Huddersfield. Poch has been unequivocal that Janssen is not in his plans since then. The problem is not that Janssen is on the outs, the problem is that Levy has completely failed to back the fucking manager.

There's a proper midfielder in Skipp on the bench, get him on and let Winks play box to box.

Arguments on hold now, huge 45 and going to get behind the lads if they show they care too.

This is not surprising given everything that happened this week. They absolutely pound Man U in second half and all they have to show for it is a serious injury to their best player. Their second best goal scorer leaves for two weeks. A club icon is sold and leaves. Exactly like the summer, absolutely nothing is done to reinforce or maybe even push forward the current group. Then the replacement for your best player scores an own goal ten minutes into the game.

As much as we are frustrated as fans, how do you think the players and coaches are feeling? What the hell is Poch supposed to do? What would you do when you turn back and look at the options available on the bench today?

Bottom line - when you dont improve the group of players for almost a full year, you are asking for issues like this. If we cant beat one of the worst teams in the league, we are screwed. CL is a big deal for next year finally entering a new stadium (assuming that actually happens). Without investment, it likely slips up and a lot of other bad things could happen.

This all rests on Levy's shoulders. We hear excuse after excuse but at some point those excuses don't matter. Make something happen. Back the manager. Fix the problems everyone has seen since August (midfield anyone?) or risk it all slipping away.

Great post.

Fucking stop fouling Lamela. He's so obsessed with fouling over and above every other aspect of the game.

Poor 1st half can only get better.
Llorente poor as we all expected, Alli, Lamela and Eriksen not been up to there usual standards, definitely need to change to 4 at the back, sanchez off

My darling wife who knows fuck all about football said exactly this.

We're losing but this game but it's still very winnable. It's not like Fulham have even scored yet.

Yes they are missing but we have been dogshit at the back as well. The system change was stupid and unnecessary, and is causing us more problems than the missing players.
Nailed it. The best solution is probably putting Skipp on for Sanchez and hoping he can do his best Sissoko impersonation.

Yeah but with Kane/Son/Moura missing I'm not sure there was too many other options. Would Llorente work in a 4-2-3-1?
So you change everyone else's role to fit in one player? Not that I think he'd be any worse in a 4-2-3-1 than this. Did we not play 4 at the back v Tranmere with him up top?
