Was just thinking, we haven't heard much on him lately, particularly in relation to ITK where his activities usually crop up. Wonder if anyone knows what he is up to at the moment? Sidelined? Quietly going about his business? Sleeping with Mrs Levy? The suave devil.

He's been told to take the summer off and think about what he's done.

Probably been at the World Cup doing some schmoozing on the club's behalf.

I have a friend who is an engineer, on one of the jobs he did, he did less than a hours work each day and just spent his time drinking cups of tea, talking in the office and going to Tesco's.

I can imagine Franco's day to be somewhat similar.

He didn't have Franco's black book but he did have a black book filled with women's numbers.

I think Franco is more of a negotiator as well whilst Broomfield is more just a scout.

Tesco's? Cups of tea? Franco wears a white linen suit and panama as he strolls down the promenade in the French or Italian rivieras, stopping for an espresso or to pick up young lady friend. #DonFranco.

A thread popped up on the Fighting Cock saying the following:

According to MARCA in Spain Franco Baldini has already not only been told he will be leaving Spurs but actually been placed on gardening leave. If reports are true then Spurs have managed to keep this situation in house, which in the modern 24hr media world is quite impressive.

The article states that Baldini was subject to an internal investigation by the club into some financial dealings following various signings and although it does not go into more detail the fact that the outcome is his removal has to make you wonder what exactly that means.

I can't find an online link to the original article though. Obviously Marca are lying bastards but i'd be interested to know if there's anything in it.

 @ that second bit.

A very serious accusation Id be surprised if that is the case, I always thought that Levy deals with all the finances.

Indeed! I'd have thought they'd be getting a call from our lawyers if there's nothing in it.

The internal investigations were probably:

"Are Capoue, Chiriches, Lamela, Soldado, Chadli, Eriksen and Paulinho still worth £100 combined?"
