You know full well I was speaking in general and not about specific players. If Spence hasn't grasped the tactics in training up until now then that's why he hasn't featured as much. Conte said it before and did so re Bissouma and he is now featuring more. Just needs patience and to work hard. It'll come for him. We also have two other senior RWBs who have had a year under Conte whether you like it or not. That's why he hasn't started or played as much.
Yea all good mate and completely agree with what you're saying as being true. I do really like Conte but I also think he's been a little over cautious and stubborn with the likes of Bissouma and Spence and Gil and it has led to other players getting too burntout, just my opinion, obviously he knows what he is doing but at the same time I don't think any manager is absoloutely perfect in every aspect of their approach, but yes in general some players need to do more when they get given a chance, Sanchez, Skipp etc have been below par too often so far for example.

What in the world has happened to dier these last couple months? Went from England must, to looking like someone who’s won a fucking competition! I mean it were bad last night wasn’t it? 2 cbs are an absolute MUST in January (and a rb ) of hes not planning on using spence or doc.
Far too much turmoil in our defence. One game in the middle, the next at RCB. Different pairings, different fullbacks, different midfield. No consistency in selection means inconsistency in results and performances. A settled defence is what we need.

Just seen the extended highlights posted on YouTube.

Some real calamity ‘defending’, a mixture of lethargy or can’t be bothered and some seriously questionable refereeing.

Forster did very well to keep us from a real drubbing and Spence showed some real attacking intent.

Two new, high quality centre backs needs to be the absolute priority in my humble opinion.

He's a bit incoherent in post match comments. Kane is really exhausted, but I had to play him. That's nonsense and Kane should've had a couple of days off to get rested before a final push against Leeds.

The result doesn't matter much here. It's just disappointing that Conte hasn't gotten us into a stronger position. And with that a work in progress, why keep flogging our top players like work horses? Maybe be less rigid and give the fringe guys a go.
Incoherent is the understatement of the year. I have no idea what he is talking about, ever. You can fool all of the people some of the time etc., etc

Conte is an enigma for sure. He’s night and day sometimes in his comments. Love/hate relationship with fans.

It truly amazes me how getting knocked out of a Cup competition at such an early stage "doesn't matter much here" possibly because our trophy cabinet is already bulging with silverware.

I think we the supporters went into this game wanting to win but came out of it not really really gutted that we lost, I don't think we were totally invested in it.
That being the case I imagine it is perfectly possible the same applies to the players, maybe not even consciously, and if that's the case you can't give 100% even if you try hard to.

Although I believe you win every game you play and try to win every trophy going , getting knocked out, as with Arsenal , it may be a blessing long term.

How long term are you looking at, say a decade and a half, because King was the last Spurs player to lift a Trophy.

I am assuming you were born then?

You're easily amazed then. We've been knocked out of this early very often. Not many care at all and nobody will be looking back on this in late January wondering what could have been.
