And Scotland 2 up, so could still make the next round

They're currently on a 0 GD. If it stays that way, they'd need both Chile and Cameroon/New Zealand winner to pass them. That would require Chile needing to beat Thailand by at least 5 goals. It's possible, but a 2-0 win in all likelihood would get Scotland through.

As it stands the 3rd place standings are:

  1. Brazil 6 pts (+3 GD)
  2. China 4 pts (0 GD)
  3. Scotland 3 pts (0 GD)
  4. Nigeria 3 pts (-2 GD)
  5. Cameroon/New Zealand 0 pts (-3 GD) [Still to play]
  6. Chile 0 pts (-5 GD) [Still to Play]
So Scotland would need both groups to pass them on GD which is very unlikely. I just don't think Chile is good enough to win by 5 over Thailand and Cameroon/New Zealand are probably even enough and will know they both need to win by at least 3 goals tomorrow.

No, the new one where if the ball hits the ref they stop play and give it back to the team who last had possession.

Ah yeah I found it now. Players still haven't figured out how the dropped ball change works either. England wanted to play it back to Japan but that was another one of the changes.

VAR is an absolute joke. Really not looking forward to every decision taking 5 minutes next season.
