Not sure why I put 80's?! WHat a numb nuts.Would have been 95 or about 98 if it involved both Ted Shez and Klinsmann.
In fact I think the only time they were both at Spurs was the 94/95 season.

If its the same game I am thinking about it would have been 1995. FA cup quarter final at Anfield. Was at this match.Sheringham's goal vs Liverpool, not sure of the year, 88/89? It's a reminder of what a superb footballer he was. The first touch and pass from Klinsmann was sublime. If memory serves, I think even Howells made a good pass in that one!
I still get shivers now watching that goal. I was behind the goal with my Dad at the time. 14 years old and went nuts.No Ricky Villa 14.5.1981 Wembley replay ?

Two stand out for me, both from the early 60s although I can't remember the games now. Some other older SCers may recall more details.
One was John White taking a corner kick with a perfect curl on it and it went straight into the top corner of the net.
The other was Greavsie (goal poacher indeed?) running from the centre line and beating five players along the way, with some wonderful swerve and feint, and popping the ball safely in the goal beyond the reach of the keeper.
White scored direct from a corner against Glasgow Rangers in the CWC, i was behind the goal.
Jimmy did that against Utd
