Because they had the creativity sucked out of them by these fraudulent managers and I'm talking about loans and players we have sold.

If you say so, your entitled to your opinion.
why am i now imagining Ndombele in a red dress? :yuck:

Do not cast your pearls before a swine.

You people aint stupid use your brains, look at what we had to what we now have.

These fraudulent managers have destroyed our club. And you supporters are so hungry for success you allow yourself to be blinded by what's actually going on right n front on your eyes.
Did you just smoke something and watch the Matrix?

or do you believe that the moon landing was filmed in Nevada?

Despite everything that has come out over recent months, do you honestly see Conte signing on for a long-term deal at the end of the season?
That’s the issue I mentioned earlier, and I have nothing to support me against that argument. The uncertainty with the contract is probably hurting us. If I was forced to pick I’d guess he leaves. For me though that’s not enough to get rid of him now or not attempt to get him to sign a new deal in the summer. I’ve already said I want him to stay and given my reasons. Either way the club has to pick a direction in the summer at the latest, and it better be one that is stuck to for more than 1 or 2 seasons. Tired of the constant change without direction infinitely more than Conte or any other manager having hard times in charge here.

Ryan Mason in 6 games got us playing better football with good results with a midfield of Winks, Ndombele, Dele etc compared to Conte who has had 3 transfer windows and decent backing(10 new players), yes we’ve had some injuries but the football is absolutely not good enough and the system and defensive style doesn’t suit our players just like it didn’t under similar managers Jose and Nuno.

We are Boring Set-piece FC and nothing more.

I hope he can somehow win us the FA Cup to make up for the absolute dross we’ve had to endure this season on top of the last 2 seasons.

Come on mate, of all the things you could say against Conte comparing him to Mason is absurd.

I said Mason got us playing better more enjoyable football for those 6 games which he did.

I didn't say Mason was better than Conte but Conte is on £15mil a year and repeating the same tactics over and over which don't work with this squad and we are unwatchable for 80% of this season.

No-one can really argue with any of that tbh.

I'd question those rating it funny as to if they watched us under Mason and/or what style of football they enjoy because if they think its funny that a 30yr old with no management experience could win 4 out of 6 games and get us scoring over 2 goals and game playing with a high line, a consistent press and more possession and chances created than a manager on £15million a year who's signed 10 new players for over £200million then that says more about them and their understanding and appreciation of good football more than anything.

Maybe I'm more invested than some having been a season ticket holder for 25 years with my family and friends week in week out and travelling all over Europe but I've seen a ton of managers and a ton of matches and these last 3 seasons barring the end part of last season have all been some of the most boring dreadful football since George Graham and the football gets no where near the excitement of any of Jol, Redknapp, Poch etc so its just disappointing and a waste of time and money which is partly why this season for now I've given up my ST and only go to a few games.

Each to their own but you can't seriously tell me that you enjoy watching us play for much of this season at all?

I wish you were as right about that as you are passionate.

He had to manage us against relegation fodder and still lost to Villa and Leeds. Let’s not even talk about that cup final.

I don’t need to argue anymore than that, you simply cannot compare the two and that’s literally what you’re doing. Regardless of how you word it. It’s a comparison.

If you were more entertained under Mason and that’s your point? Then cool but that’s not how you’re coming across.

Probably will get backlash for this but I thought we played well away from home and outplayed Milan in the San Siro. I get Milan isn't a powerhouse this season, but we also had 2 youngsters who have barely played in the middle of the park. 1-0 isn't the end of the world away from home in this competition.

To me it shows that Conte's system does work. The problem that we seem to be having is when this system is working at it's best the two 10s are consistently running through as Kane comes in to receive the ball and we're getting stuck. I'm personally not seeing the back line stretching runs from Kulu and Son that I saw last year - even if they don't get the ball it opens up the space for the wingbacks.

At the end of the day, I'm in the camp of if Conte stays, great - hope for another top 4 miracle, maybe a trophy run, build on it and trust the process. If not, trend towards the youth with an attacking manager.
His system only works when we have space to run into and attack. But most teams have wised up now and aren't allowing themselves to get caught out anywhere near as frequently as teams were last season, and worse are exploiting it to their own ends going the other way. I can't agree that last night was a good performance, it was more of the same - if we're forced to have the ball in the oppositions half and break them down we have zero idea. It's just cross spam and play for set pieces.

I've said it a few times now and fans will hate it, but the best thing Conte could do starting this weekend is go back to basics and we come out deliberately in that low block, tight 5-4-1 with everyone behind the ball. You'd hopefully a) have defensive solidity in numbers and b) you have space to attack into. This gameplan like it or not has always brought us the best of ConteBall (even most of those handsome wins during our "peak" last season we had to soak for a long time and break the spirit of the opposition before picking them off for goals in the second half of matches), and we're seeing zero evidence we can do anything more expansive and play higher up the pitch.

It’s all starting to feel like everyone has been told and is accepting he’s off at the end of the season.
If that’s the case I’d much rather we pulled the trigger now, and let the new guy steal a march on preparing for next season and sorting out summer targets.

There is no blanks to fill in, people have brains its not complex rocket science.
Mate, you're sounding a bit hollow and slightly weird here.
You've made a big statement, insulting loads of members on here but seem to be having trouble explaining what the fuck you're on about, just resorting to smoke and riddles.

If you've got a point, just say it. If not, just shut up.

Conte's system has broken because defenders are bullying Kane, Son and Kulu. When the front line would drop deep last year to receive the ball back to goal defenders wouldn't always go in with them and we carved them up. Now teams have worked out how to stop us, defenders just go into midfield all day with our forwards and stop them taking it clean.

It's a key component of Conte's team to have the front men or one man be able to hold the ball up under extreme pressure. Son and Kane cannot take the ball without a defender being a yard off them. Kane doesn't have the raw strength or ability to hold the ball under pressure. He tries but I would grade him below average. Son is one of the worst in the league at trying to hold the ball up.

Lukaku was great for Conte because Lukaku's best skill was his strength with back to goal, he did have a weak touch but Conte got him lean. Lukaku said Conte would spend hours firing balls at him under pressure and it got him to a solid level. When Lukaku was lean and fit under Conte it was the best hes ever looked, he reached the apex of his potential. Kane can't get any stronger or fitter, he lives super clean and has already been maximizing every ounce of his athletic ability for years so there's no room for improvement in that area.

Conte hasn't been able to solve this problem. He hasn't even tried though which is why he is performing poorly at his job. At Conte's next club he will have someone like Vlahovic who will monster people and he will look like a great coach.

Would we honestly want him seeing as what we’ve witnessed so far this season?

I really hope he’s gone, sooner than later.

There's something immensely unsatisfying and disappointing about him just walking away.

Sacked for poor results...Ok. Blow up with Levy over lack of backing...ok. But to just be a bit fed up and home sick is fairly crap.

He took the job knowing it would be a huge commitment and long term project. I would feel really let down if he walks just because.

He has a contract. It sounds like he is fulfilling his contract.
