After 6 or 7 years doesn't the rule stop being "new"?
Delaying the offside flag for a goalscoring opportunity was introduced in the 2020/21 season so it's still a fairly new rule change.

“Premier league, corrupt as fuck” because the referee had the audacity to rightly give us a goal kick and then a yellow card for their player a yellow for screaming “fuck off” repeatedly at the linesman. Sure.

Sarr and Kulusevski getting ready off the bench is just another level to what we have had recently.

We need to keep hold of the ball in midfield but our two best midfielders-Bents especially but also Maddison don’t look fully at it.
Agree mate both not fully up to match sharpness and also that trio along with PEH mabye a bit slow/non physical overall especially in a game like this with a bobbly tight pitch.

LOL. Listen to them crying about corruption over not being given a corner. Imagine if they conceded a goal like the one we did. God help us all

PEH just slows us down constantly and cant pass a short 5 yard pass... needs to be one of the first out the door in the summer

The delayed offside flag has been apart of VAR for the entire time (since 2016/17). The PL wasn't using it as much as the Laws expected until around 2020.

Some of PEH's passing today has been atrocious...
He his a lovely through ball to Werner just now.

I do agree that overall he’s not the level we need but he’s hit some nice passes as well as some dodgey ones or ones where his also of mobility has cost the pass a bit
