Hope Man United go all the way cos it looks like they might be playing some of their first team, so more games = more chances of slipping up in league/picking up injuries:grin:

Got a feeling Atl. Madrid might win it this year.

I said in one of the threads in Spurs Chat that I expected Utd and City to play strong teams tonight as they don't have a domestic game until next weekend. If they get good results tonight they can leave a few players out of the home legs...

Hopefully they both go through and get Russian teams in the next round...

Looking forward to seeing Christian Eriksen , i know he has only 20 2 days ago but rate him a lot and if Modric moves on in the summer we could do a lot worse than bring this guy in to replace him - very similar player

It's kicking off in Amsterdam apparently, 88 arrests so far.

You would have though most of them would be partaking in some herbal mischief and would be too bombed to cause aggro. Isn't that why people go to Amsterdam....??

United team;

De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Fabio Da Silva, Nani, Carrick, Cleverley, Young, Rooney, Hernandez. Subs: Amos, Smalling, Park, Welbeck, Scholes, Valencia, Pogba.

They should win this relatively comfortably. Should.

If Ajax were in adecent league they would be one of the best teams in the world. The youth setup of that club is fantastic.

Interesting to see what this Vertonghen is like, everyone is raving about him and JJ has mentioned him for the summer.

Looks confident going forward with the ball but looks a bit lax positionally to me

He certainly likes taking the ball out of defence. He's no Kaboul though. :wink:
