Still some toughish games. We could get Monaco or Fenerbache in our group. Would love a trip to Monaco though!

Lots of tough opponents - at least we will not face Villareal and Soldado in the group stages though.

Yeah although it's a dead cert in the knockouts!!

No doubt we will draw one of the Azerbaijani sides.

A few much easier games though - Celtic or APOEL FC (Cyprus) out of Pot 2 could be the easiest though

There's some good teams and nice cities in there. What's the betting we don't get them and instead get the crap teams that play in the arse cracks of Europe

A couple of the Russian sides (outside of Moscow) will not be the easiest travel either - Krasnador or Kazan (although we've been there before I think)

Imagine a group of us, Lazio, Monaco and the team that knocked Southampton out...

We're going to end up with either Qarabag or Gabala and a nice little away trip to a country bordering Iran. And because the football gods hate us they'll be extra douchey and make us play Arsenal or Chelsea on the Sunday afterwards.

Pick your most ideal group, by ease of opposition, prestige, nice away day city or just least distant travelled

I would go for mixture of small distance to travel and nice away days against relatively easy opposition.

Tottenham
Anderlecht
Saint-Etienne
Molde

Nightmare group would be:

Tottenham
Lazio
Monaco
Midjtylland

Best case:

Pot 2: Celtic, AZ, Plzen or Brugge
Pot 3: Poznan, Liberec or Rapid Wien
Pot 4, Rosenborg, Molde or Groningen

Worst case:
Pot 2: Fiorentina, Lazio or Besiktas
Pot 3: Monaco, Fenerbahce, Moscow or Krasnodar
Pot 4: Partizan, Qarabaq, Galaba or Skenderbeu

Hopefully;

Spurs
Club Brugge
Rapid Wien
Sion

Dortmund
Liverpool
Moncaco
Qarabag

We'll probably end up with Lazio, Lokomotiv Moscow and Qarabag.

Replace Sion with Groningen and that's the ideal group for me - not too far to travel, teams we can beat and away legs in cities I might actually want to visit.

If we got Lazio or Fiorentina, Monaco and Partizan, that is arguably harder than Chelsea's CL group.

Disagree on the choice of Belgian team... Brugge are far stronger than Anderhlecht.
