Can someone please turn up at our press conference in a Dier Bayern shirt? It's worked once already!

I can see him being interested in Bayern tbh. I'm confused as to why they are interested though as they have quite a talented array of centre backs.

Kaveh Solhekol on Sky Sports: "Apart from Bayern Munich, we're also told by Sky Germany that Borussia Dortmund are pushing very hard to sign Eric Dier from Tottenham."

Has he been included in any of the squads so far this season?

Anyway if he does go to Munich or anywhere else good luck to him. Never hated him, just believe now is the time to leave. Good honest pro who has had his health issues.

Maybe Dortmund think Dier can help stop Kane when they face him?

(I can't believe I wrote that)

If true, surely has to be off. Said it before, but I couldn't see Ange turning to him at all so utterly pointless him hanging about. It would be suicide playing' him at CB. Actually enjoying this no nonsense approach from Postecoglou. Doesn't matter if you've been here ages, are a senior player and a good pro/train well, if you don't fit the profile he wants, you won't get a look in and are better off just leaving.

Not really indicative considering he hasn’t been in any match day squads thus far.

I know Ange said he expected there to be some rotation tonight but it is a cup game against EPL opposition, not a friendly. He’s not going to give players spots in the squad for the sake of it.

When it was just Fulham ect being linked I could see him staying but now with Munich and Dortmund surely he’ll go if the offer comes, seems like the person who’d enjoy trying a new country.

But in a game where Ange said changes to the first team were to be made, it would have made it more likely he could be included in the squad.

Yeah, look, what Ange is doing probably needs to be done. And arguably has needed to be done for a few years.

However, I hope lads like Dier and Lloris are being treated with as much respect as they can be in this situation. They've been great pros for us and deserve to leave with a bit of dignity.

To be fair to him, he could certainly still do a job in the Bundesliga I think. Slightly less breakneck than the Prem, and he has a lot of experience and football nous to offer...
