Must be tough for our young lads coming into a side that has had 3 managers in a year and constantly having to prove themselves and adapt to new tactics and formations.
With little or no leadership, help or direction from any of our so called senior players.

Mason's done pretty well, and so did Bentaleb last season.

Not hatred at all. I just don't think he's up to the standard of what we need at the club to progress. Would be great if he was, save us going out and spending millions on someone who is.

As I said before, hatred is a very strong word and it's hard to hate someone you don't know.

He's only young don't you think he might improve? He has all the talent and application he just needs to improve his end product and decision making

Showing no signs of it so far.... I stick by what I said earlier, if you don't have a brain on the pitch, you can have all the talent in the world but it won't help if you keep making the wrong choices. Sometimes a 5 yard pass is the right option instead of a speculative shot from 30 yards.

Yeah I'll go with that but he has the potential to be a match winner for us if he is coached properly and he takes the information on board

Several coaches have tried. Wasn't it posted on here that they do tell him but he doesn't listen too well to the information he's being given? That's a problem.

I'm sure they have, it's up to him to take the information on board and to be fair to him in his last few matches for us and when he plays for England there has been less 40 yard shots and more simple passes

He has more time at international level, and yes he did look better in that game recently when he started on the left. Time will tell I guess.

Disagree. The England team would beat our current crop easily. Better back 4. Better midfield. Better strikers. More winners in the team.
Maybe the way they play at their clubs, but the way they play as a team for England truly is bad. Would be a nice contest but they'd win but still doesn't draw away from the fact that England is poor

In no way do I think people pile on any "hatred" towards Andros because they think he is a rubbish player and that he isn't good enough for Spurs. I just think a fair amount of people get frustrated with him at times because he shows the promise to be an outstanding player, but for whatever reason, (Lack of football brain, wanting to do everything himself, lack of opportunities) it's not happening for him...

I find it sadder that I find the whole England thing Meh these days.
Agree. Once the FA decided to keep Hodgson in the job after the dreadful WC that was it for me. Handing the captaincy to Rooney was the final nail in the coffin. I haven't seen England kick a ball since the WC and from what I read on here and the BBC I haven't missed much.

I'm actually looking forward to watching Wales and Belgium play today due to Bale and our Belgium contingent. How times have changed.

If our English players aren't selected for England I'm not too bothered - it keeps them under the radar and prevents them being injured.

However i would feel pissed off if we have a starting 11 with no English players in it, like Woolwich and BinDippers have done before.

I think there's a player in Townsend myself. I'm not sure if he's not being coached well or not following orders well. I'd like to see him more on the left though, running at fullbacks and getting crosses into the box. It's something we don't do enough of and I think the likes of Kane and Soldado would thrive on. When he plays on the right he so predictable always cutting inside and looking for a shot.

As for the lack of England players I think it just shows our biggest problem in that we're a team full of potential but not enough players in their prime. Our only real established England international quality player at the moment is Walker and he's a long way from full fitness. The rest are players of potential but not yet ready athough Kane and Mason must be getting closer and if Dier can get a run of games in his best position he wont be far behind either.

Nobody is using facts-it is opinion and it is the same old dreary no brain, shoots into Row Z stuff.
The fact is in his last game where he played 90 minutes he earned and scored a pen and set up on a plate a goal for Harry. I think Andros will get better and better and I don't give a fuck what happened last year under dreary AVB. He was not fully fit latter half last season either.
The thread is about England. I was looking forward to seeing Andros feature and I was enormously proud of his fantastic contributions to help England qualify and I love seeing a local boy wearing the Three Lions on his shirt.
Anyway that is my lot about the lad.

Pretty sure the 1 goal from 40-odd shots and 0 assists last season is not an opinion.... :cautious:

Last season he had an astonishing 56 shots, 49 from outside the area, and scored one goal—a fluke from a cross with which none of our players in the area quite managed to connect, which found its way into the net. As goalscoring records go, that's somewhat short of great.

These are facts Prawnsandwich and honestly it doesn't look good for Andros. However, I have noticed he is shooting less this season so long may that continue!
