No, people are only reacting like this because we had ONE season of CL and think we now have a right to be in the CL. 5th/6th highest wages, 10th average attendance etc, we're at where we should be.

I think the majority of levy haters are just on the bandwagon. Personal opinion.

I think we can punch above our weight to be honest and we had many opportunities to do so, but the transfer windows and mangers are being fucked over, buy a ridiculous transfer policy.

Instead of getting Moutinho, we got Dembele, Dempsey and co and started the season with 4 goalies and a single LB....?

Pooch, missed out Schnidy because Levy was dithering.

We sell Berbatov last day of the transfer window and get who in? Yeah... that turned out great and fucked over Ramos (who also got fucked over by the players for wanting them to train hard.... seems like Pooch too).

Yeah, I love and I am all for our sustainable financial balancing, but fuck me, there is no need for quantity over quality. We could have had quality with the best of the youth come through...

But no, we got fucked.

I want a sugar daddy to come in and turn us into a bigger club like Chelsea and Man City have been made into.

I don't care about doing things the right way as I'm getting too old for year after disappointment.

I want to see the likes of modric, bale and vdv in our team again and not be forced to sell them.

I want to see the likes of Diego Costa, Mats Hummels and Griezmann added to our team because I want to win but win in style.

I don't want to look back about a period when we got top 4 as a distant memory of a mere taste of "success" and feel I was privileged.

I want for us to be in a brilliant, well thought out stadium that everyone else is envious of.

Most of all I want other clubs to try and strive to be like us.

When we were finishing 4th/5th, (especially 5th) and Levy got criticised by a few people, we got told by the BSoDL that we were actually punching over our weight and should prostrate ourselves before him and kiss Levy's little pinkie toe in gratitude.

We're certainly not punching above our weight this season, its all come home to roost.

Are we now 'punching' where we should be and complaints about Le Petite Fromage are harsh? I dunno…….I'd like to know……..but the previously most vocal and persistent of the BSoDL aren't around to tell me :cautious:

I honestly don't know enough about the devil I don't know (hmmm) to say whether I want them out or not.

If they get bought out by an entity that will get the stadium built and put money into the squad considering FFP, then I suppose so.

I want! I want! I want!

I want to be a fan of a rich club, that all my friends will envy me for supporting. Chelsea perhaps, they've got loads of money and a good manager... and star players. No, no, wait... Man. City...even more money than Chelsea I think. Oh, God, I can't decide between the two. I wish I hadn't told everyone that I support Tottenham fucking Hotspur. I know, I know....I'll moan non-stop about Spurs to all and sundry, about how I hate them, and then make a decision next year (just in case Spurs pick up). That way everyone will understand why I'm suddenly supporting Chelsea... or Man. City...I don't know yet... depends who wins the League.

But in the meantime I'm going to make Spurs sorry that I supported them. They'll really miss me when I'm gone.

We finished 12th in Levy's first season in charge and we are 12th now and not looking like we can do much better than that. It seems that Baldy has taken us full circle.

Nevermind we have the best training ground in the world though.

It's a stupidly pointless question, even hypothetically.

We need to know what the alternative is before we know whether we want Levy out don't we.

If the new owner is a generous multi squillionaire oligarch/sheikh/mogul with a taste for opulent football and way more money than sense then I'll vote a big fat yes.

If it's some noueveau riche despot looking to avoid prosecution in his former asian fiefdom/shinawatra/Tan/Learner/Porn Baron's type I'll vote no.

So who's the new owner @Mullers ?

Not entirely pointless. It's essentially 'stick or twist'.

In other words, are we happy with the way the club is run at the moment, or would we want to take a risk on someone new.

The pointlessness comes from the fans being in no position to influence the events one way or another...unless there's an organised boycott of games and merchandise.

It's got to be either Levy/ENIC or AN Other. There will always have to be an owner. The choice offered in the poll is effectively Levy/ENIC or no-one.

I disagree. At its base it's about gathering a public vote of confidence in the owners. It's not too different from Levy himself looking at our performances and wondering whether sticking with the current manager is worthwhile, or whether things are so bad that someone...anyone...would be worth trying as an alternative (though again, we have no decision-making powers).

It's like saying "behind these three doors are a sugar daddy, a Levy clone, and a Vincent Tan. Are you so unhappy with Levy that you'd be happy to take a risk by opening one of those doors?"

Maybe @Mullers does mean that, but that's not the actual question he's asked. It could just as easily be interpreted as a two door choice, Levy and Tan.

Like who? Joe Lewis?
It couldn't be Joe Lewis he'd have to leave the tax-exile of the Bahamas. I don't really know who but off the top of my head there are four people not involved in the day to day of football clubs at the moment, one you can discount for obvious reasons when you read his name (although I couldn't care less he was good at his job) . anyway 4 I can think of are Peter Kenyon, Ron Gourlay, David Dein & David Gill, These are just examples of football people available not who I think we should get... I'd need more time to think it through to pick someone

The only point of contention is Levy and co. failed their stated objective of getting us top 4 football sustainably.

If this is not their objective I can't even see where the debate can begin.

Alot of top quality former executives there. Some make Levy look like a random clueless-about-football man off the street.
