but he is being a good boy at training, all smiles and happiness.

I saw that Robofan. Chatty too!

Inspite of SSN being oh-so-surprised he's still training at the Lodge and not Manchester bound.

I guess it means one of 2 things:

Either Berba has had word that he'll be leaving before the window ends and his anxiety is over, or he's just accepted that Fergie hasn't come up with the dosh, inspite of the papers saying he's increased the bid to 25 mill.

We'll see.

Anyone listening to SSN, they are breaking news that Berbatov is going to Man Ure. Just speculation so far but apparently they have talked to Arshavins agent that says the deal is going through.

Who is that slaphead twat who came out with the following gems?
Spurs are embarassed, the reporting of Man Utd has backfired,Man Utd hold all the aces and Spurs can no longer hold onto him,Spurs have to sell now and have no choice,Spurs have cocked this one up,has a dig about courting Ramos,Spurs replacing Berbatov and Keane with Falcao and we are desperately hoping it comes off and is a gamble because he's Colombian and only 22,We are all over the place with no balance and Ramos is Ossie Ardiles mark 2.
No way is this guy a real spurs fan.:bs:
I see this mug is from the Daily Mail-what a surprise that paper just has a dig at Spurs every day.Journalists like this are mugs and Sky Sports News value his opinion, says it all.

So, Spurs sign Pavlyuchenko and Man U sell Saha. Yet, it seems now
that it is more likely Berba to stay than it was before those deals to be close to completition.

Petyr, Everton paid no money for Saha, David Moyes said on SSN, their job is to get him fit enough to play, and so he is just dead weight off the MU wage bill.

However, the excitable bods on SSN who are desperate for this transfer to go through are claiming that they have heard from "sources close to the story" that Berba's "deal has been struck". It could be their sources are merely Arshavin's Agent, who would know Jack Shit, and only assumes that if we buy his player it's because Berba is going to MU.

Spurs continue to say no deal has been struck, and Comolli was at the UEFA Cup draw speaking on SSN saying he "hopes to wake up on Tuesday morning with Berba still a Spurs player". If a deal was about to be imminently struck - and he would know - I sincerely doubt he would be making those comments on TV.

SSN are notorious for getting their transfer source knickers in a twist.

Yep A deal has been struck between Man U and Spurs for Berbatov, interestingly Arshavin's spokesman Lachter confirms this and also says that Arshavin will sign for Spurs.

To be honest anything can happen in football. Commoli says he isn't going, Ferguson says he is pessimistic about the transfer, reports BErbatov has said bye to all the teammates, reports the deal is imminent. Only time will tell what the truth really is. I just can't wait till Tuesday where we will have our team settled.

You're kidding, I'm sure. That reads just like about 25% of the posts on this forum, all pasted together in a row. Panicky, intemperate, impatient, frustrated, dyspeptic, negative, bitchy, suspicious and resentful. He sounds exactly like a Spurs fan .

where are you getting this nothing on SSN i see

Trust me it was on there, they haven't put up a flashy yellow banner yet though, the guy that they speak to who talks to the agents confirmed it in the studio, he said it's only come through in the last few minutes though, add that to the news that Berbatov said his goodbyes earlier and someone on the staff even shouted out 'don't forget us' i'd say we will be hearing alot more in the coming hours.

You're jumping the gun fazza. Try and stay level headed as the source seemed dodgy. I'm not saying that this isn't or won't happen. It's just that your letting your pipedream of both Russians being announced let you read too much into every piece of info. Let's see how things pan out.

Fair enough

Not a pipedream though, will become reality very soon I think. You must admit though, does seem more likely now, Saha leaves today and leaves the 9 shirt available, Berbatov allegadly says his goodbyes and even manages a big smile at training this morning.

Do you really think Comolli is at that game tonight just to enjoy a good game of European football?

Berbatov will be gone come tuesday morning, its been written in the scripts for well over a year now.

We were lucky to have kept him last january, and I think everyone knew it was inevitable that this was to be his last season at spurs.

It seems everything will fall into place after the game in monaco tonight, regarding Berbatov to United and Arshavin to Spurs.

Berbatov allegadly says his goodbyes and even manages a big smile at training this morning.

I've just trawled through 47 pages of ITK discussion - yes 47 Eek - looking for this piece of information, after seeing nothing about it in the Read Only forum.

This is the only thing I've come up with, and nothing more....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Spurs-Berbatov-says-goodbyes-team-mates.html

the imminent departure of Manchester United target Dimitar Berbatov, who looked like he was saying his goodbyes to team-mates as he left the training ground this afernoon.

'Don't forget us,' said one member of staff before Berbatov drove through the
gates.

SSN showed him in his car at the gates signing a kid's shirt (different to yesterday's footage) so that *report* above sounds like tosh to me.

Fazza you've swallowed SSN's Scottish Transfer Bunny whole.

AA's Agent, as I posted earlier, does not know the state of our finances, and just because we are getting close to signing his player, it does not necessarily mean that we have agreed to sell Berbatov. Arshavin may be good, but his Agent is an arse. I believe he's already been told once by the club to stop talking to the press. He should've listened the first time.

For what it's worth (nothing admittedly), Robbie Earle thinks if the Berbs deal isn't done by tomorrow then Utd will look elsewhere. Andy Townsend could'nt think of any other strikers. Pair of twunts.

Question is, if Utd do go elsewhere, what do we do with Berbs? Gardening leave until January?

Townsend should go back to his tactics trunk. He and Earle are useless! You turn over to sky and it may as well be MUTV. Rooney takes a shit and its the main headline.
