I meant we have 2 of our best prospects still to come and we are thinking of buying a lad who is a year older than josh onomah, then a player call Rabiot who is a year older than winks. I feel if both are true we seem to lack a long term plan which integrates our current youth and first team.

We're talking about 18 and 19 year olds. Remember Mason is 23 and Carroll 22.

I don't think you understand what I mean, we should be signing players to bring though and help the players we have, I am not saying don't sign good young players. We only seem to be linked with 18-19yrs it's justwe need to sign the David's the Naybets types again to help our young players though in defence and midfield we have so much talent in the accademy, we have ball and Dier, and Milo's (defence ofpr midfield) in defence who would do well with a center back they can learn from and can get them though games would you trust them with . In midfield we have Stambouli, capoue, Paulinho, Dembele as our experience then mason, Bentalab, onomah, winks, Milo's, again where is there David's style player to learn from.

Yes we need young dynamic hungry players but we also need players they can learn from a team of 18-21yrs can't win the league with out know how, look how lampard has saved Man city's season we need a few winners with exp and another striker.

Rabiot is by all accounts a DM and this kid an AM, so no conflict there. We also need to acquire and/or develop a couple of promising options for each position, not simply expect every good looking youth prospect to make it. And continue to use the loan system well. We shouldn't be blinded just because two or three have recently come through, it's highly unusual.
