Kane and Son are two rare players, rarely will you see top pros his age tee total and 100% dedicated to playing football so it's a bit of a unfair comparison to make, we're just lucky we have two of them at our club.

Yeah it’s quite rare. Think Bale was tee total as well.

There is not a single top sportsman that’s reached the absolute pinnacle that isn’t 100% dedicated and made msssive sacrifices. That’s the difference between the very very best and the also rans. Completely up to Dele what choice he makes. It’s why Rooney never got to Ronaldo messi levels.

Dele is a pisshead, he drinks and drinks all day. And when he's not out drinking, he's shagging Ruby Mae.

I'll get my coat.

For what it’s worth I’ve seen on Deles Instagram stories that he’s been running on a treadmill or doing some form of fitness throughout his “break.” So he goes out and gets trolled whilst in Mykonos on holiday, hardly the crime of the century is it. God knows what I’d be like if I had their money and fame so I’m definitely not gonna judge him.

If he will have bad season it's not because he got drunk one night but because of general change of his attitude. So I don't care really.

Nope, i'd have pissed, gambled and womanised my career away before it had even begun if i was in his shoes. Funnily enough i thought his form dipped last season not so much due to injuries (which obviously didn't help) but due to being distracted - as it seemed to coincide with his splitting up with his girlfriend. So i'm actually pleased to see him enjoying himself with her as it might help him rediscover his best form.

Completely agree. It is what is is though at the end of the day. Some players have that determination to do everything it takes, and others don't. If that means that he never fulfils his potential to the fullest then he's got to live with that. As you say, it's up to him what choice he makes. You can't force someone to have that Ronaldo-level mentality unfortunately.

Not a big deal at all. He needs to kick on next year though, was pretty poor for large periods this past season

As you say, he was pretty poor for most of last season, and I appreciate he was injured for periods of it, but his contributions towards the end of season were woeful.
He can't afford a sluggish start next season, as he's likely to have greater competition for his place than that of previous years.

I think the injury against Fulham messed him up, he was coming back into form at that time.

Ffs the tabloid press just love to tear young players to sheds. Young man gets pissed on holiday shocker. Just so you’ve got your head in the game come training next week, I don’t care what a you do on holiday.

I think it's outrageous for a professional footballer to get drunk on holiday when our next competitive game is only 36 days away.

Not to look negatively on Dele, I think he's a splendid footballer, as I've mentioned in here many times. But if we're looking to sign the likes of Lo Ceslo and Ceballos, then he really needs to up his game. (Not related to the current story. Not handling your drink on holiday in the middle of a heatwave is a non issue)
