Maybe because I said how I would retaliate, you assume i'm condoning his actions, which i'm not. But I won't berate the boy for doing what most hot headed 20yr olds would've done.
At least a 3 game ban will give him time to reflect on his actions and maybe watch a few videos of the Stuart Pearce approach to no nonsense tackling.

He takes a battering every game, and gets little protection from the refs. He normally puts up with it, but this time Yacob went too far so he smacked him.
I'm not sure what the lesson is he should learn, except next time wait longer and catch him with an elbow or leave his foot in, because the refs are not going to change.
These alternatives are pretty cynical - there is something very honest about how he reacted. No wonder he got a 3 game ban.
