I didn't' see the incident only the dust up that Walker had. There were a few niggles in the game and WBA deserved a few more bookings in my view.
Hopefully this is a nothing incident just the press trying to make a story. Disappointed with the match result. We seemed to loose our way in the second half and became complacent. I will see be happy if we finish 2nd but this was a missed opportunity which I hope the team loans from. COYS

It really was a nothing situation. Just a little tussle in the box. Harsh punishment.

Really?

He proper punched the guy in the stomach. Such a dick move and should have been sent off to be honest regardless of how wound up he was getting

They were out to wind him up as he has the side to his game where he will react.
I think in the first several mins he was fouled 3 times twice by yacob.
He does need to be smarter but he's a young lad still learning and growing up.....but wouldn't want him to totally lose that side of his game.

If he misses 3 games that will be harsh...but I think we've got enough cover regardless anyways, not saying he wouldn't be missed.

To be honest, he has been a red card waiting to happen or a disciplinary. He is going and sometimes gets caught out eg the kick in the Europa league.

Now is the time for him to learn to curb that side of his game. He needs to be aggressive because he will be targeted.

Agree completely heading into the Euros and Champions League he will experience worse, in fact he will be targeted because of his response.

Proper punch my arse. It was nothing really. Silly of him to get involved but I've seen players do much worse and get nothing.

Very surprised if Poch does not take further action. He dropped and then got rid of Townsend for much, much less.

NOT that i am suggesting anything other than he be disciplined for his stupid, immature actions that could possibly cost us second place in the PL.

It was stupid, he'll get a ban and hopefully he'll learn from it. However, this WBA team is now a typical "pulis team" they clearly had it in their heads to target Alli and we're kicking lumps out of him the entire game, not that is an excuse for Alli's actions.

Hitting out at staff is much worse than hitting out at an opponent - both are bad, but hitting staff is worse.

If anyone actually believes it was nothing they need their head checked.

Whatever punishment he gets he deserves.
Hopefully he'll learn from it.

Well I need my head checked as I think it was a bit of something that a big deal is being made of. To call it violent conduct maybe correct by the rule book, but I see it as a young man who reacts (and there wasn't much in the punch and hardly reaction from Yacob) to the attempt to bully him and unsettle him by the less talented. I would love to see a punishment for the bully too, maybe if the reactor gets a 2 match and then if there is evidence of the bullying (there is) then he (the bully) gets a one match ban.

Disciplinary action? I know what to do... Put him on Kardassia Prime and don't let him leave until he yells "There are FOUR lights!"

there was nothing in that - I wouldn't even call it a punch more an arm swing. It looks like the inside of the fist made contact so it didn't look like too much intention to really hurt.

The boy should be embarrassed...he's soiled the family name! It was more sting like a feather duster than rumble in the jungle.

Don't touch him up, knock him out!

Poor old Yacob needs his head checked...

“I don’t remember it,” Yacob told reporters. “It was nothing. What stays on the pitch…”
