Why would he train, travel and then decide to not be at the hotel because of something that happened 7 days ago. I am thinking of the high line we play. It is an attacking approach that takes risks and having quick defenders who can suddenly track back is a bonus.

It's a bonus, no doubt about that. But we don't rely on that. If we have to track back at full speed it means we failed with our defending. So I think we rely more on positioning, and timing. Those are the key components of a defense that closes down effectively.
Sanchez will have to work on those 2 things. But his speed will come in handy, especially now that we play at Wembley

Agreed. They have also been high on the name dropping Madrid and Chelsea bus. They were the ones on his not training one day then the next which is probably because their reporter was physically there and could see. Same with the hotel story today. Seems like they've been on the out since it broke.

This is vs. Jesse Lingard with a ball in his feet, though. Not exactly a pace benchmark. That being said, I believe Sanchez has sufficient pace for a Pochettino defence. But to call him specifically pacey is probably not accurate.
