I don't agree it's all about the money, whilst its unlikely he'd want to move somewhere that pays less than us, if he'd gone to Manchester United two years ago he'd ave a pocketfull of medals as well and that is what we are now facing as a club, a team full of players who could be playing at clubs that will win trophies, that wasn't the case until recently.
Like it or not our success has brought different problems to the club and how we deal with it will define our future over the next ten years, we could be massive but not on the wage structure we have now, we might not like it but we can't avoid it, our wages will have to rise more than many of us realise.
I totally disagree, this is about money money money pure and simple and engineering a move
It is common knowledge now than he and Walks share an agent. I can picture the scene now in the agents (Uncle's) office.

As I said having read the interview I agree with everything he says. Also no more N'Koudou's they add nothing to us we need to strengthen the squad, by signing players that will compete for the first team, immediately.
You are right on one hand, but on another hand, where would we be without taking a risk on a few lesser known players? How do you know who will work out and who won't? You are correct, we need to become better at the transfers we do. But I don't think we should completely abolish the underlaying transfer philosophy. If anything, we should possibly stick closer to it, and when that results in no signings, prevent our selves from signing panic replacements of category Plan Z.

Funny thing is Rose has said nothing that most posters on here haven't been saying for ages.

1) Players can earn more elsewhere
2) We aren't signing big name players
3) We need to win something.

He's also said he's happy at Spurs. Naturally the "explosive" bits have been picked out of that but I'm sure Poch would love to say we need to sign big players and spend money if he wasn't so professional. It's essential we hang on to Rose or we will have lost 50% of the best defence in the league last year (sorry Tripps & Davies you were involved to) and will actually be materially weaker no matter who we sign.

We are allowed to say it, we are fans. Players aren't, they are employees and should say what they are told. It will be in his contract not to do these interviews or say these things.

Goodness me... this is what happens if the left back, who we did perfectly well without for half a season, might leave. Can you imagine if it were Alli or Eriksen, and they actually left?

And you're all angry at Levy for some reason? Be angry at the ungrateful sod who just gobbed off at the club who made him what he is. He can do one for me, go and not play for Man Utd being shit for another season while we continue to grow with the excellent set of players we already have.

So Rose agree's with you and you still think he's wrong? Conte is banging on in the press every day about getting more players and needing to improve. What will the outcome of that be? They will sign more players. The squad as a whole needs to get together and with MP put a joint message to Levy (Preferably in private) to show some ambition with the playing squad (Everything else club wise is spot on).

I imagine every player is thinking the same thing at the club at the moment. I'm not a toys out the pram sign some f'in players type fan, but I fully understand why he is saying what he is saying and secretly Poch probably agrees with him 100%. (Apart from the wanting to go up North piece).

The naivety regarding DR is remarkable imo.
Was there something about not seeing him Mum much. FFS he's been injured since January!!

It is all bollocks. He wants to be gone pure and simple.

There's been no suggestion Mourinho wants a left back this summer.
On the contrary. He has been linked with signing left backs, edging out Shaw, all kinds of left back stuff all summer.

Just a shame Rose left this temper tantrum Thursday so late. IF he now ends up leaving this window, which LB can we actually get? Sessegnon back on?

hoping and tend to agree with @Hercules that the club understand that Rose is a bit of a blunt fellow....if he knuckles down and does a job am fine with him staying....and it make us even for the lack of support the fans gave him pre-Poch (runs to get a steel hat)

The part that I had to laugh at is when he tries to claim he was actually good for us pre-Poch. He agent must be gassing him up something rotten with some of the shit he has been coming out with.

I always thought that if Danny Rose was about the money he'd have gone to Chelsea when they tapped him up as a youngster like the other lads at Leeds at the time, but he didn't he went to the club and told them what was happening as he wanted no part of it, I don't think he has changed that much.
Of course he is looking at the wages he could earn at Manchester United, he's 27 and at his peak earning age so why wouldn't he? What he isn't doing is basing any decision on his future on just money money money, for him it is not all about the money and the bottom line is, we are going to have to address this situation more and more now that we are hoping to challenge at the very top.
You could just as easily argue that he wants to win trophies and the last couple of years would suggest Manchester United would be a better bet in that case, couldn't you?

I thought he was quite good under AVB personally.
But terrible under Harry and a clown under Sherwood but the later is understandable

Yeah, no more lower league crap like Rose, Walker or Dele that'll never be good enough for us anyway. We need proven top-level talent like Moussa Sissoko and Roberto Soldado. Players you don't have to Google.

Thank fuck Rose isn't in charge of our transfer strategy.

He was quality at Sunderland and good under AVB. Missed a chunk injured and came back in poor form under Sherwood, who just told him to bomb on with no defensive cover from midfield. The abuse he got was a disgrace.
