Not sure we are reading the same spaces in between the lines there...
He mentions the politics of club football, and saying how difficult the last year has been.

Then in his interview about the depression he said:

"Things were said and things happened behind the scenes at my club, and I don't want to go into any detail because I'll end up being fined again,"

There is definitely something festering there.

As bad as this is to say, with him suffering from depression, but maybe this is the right time to sell him.

Some people ready to pounce on him again it seems.
Not pouncing on him at all. It's a complex situation, mental health always is. But he's also a chippy little fucker, it's one of the things that makes him so good on the field, but reading the way he's talking, there's something not right.

For instance, the way all of our players talk about Poch, it's evangelical, usually, no? In his depression interviews, he didn't mention him by name at all, and given they both used to be so close that other players called him "Poch's Son," that in itself is revealing.

There is your clue. Many/majority actually believe Poch wasn’t aware what Danny was going to say to the scum Sun-lol.

Rose is still carrying a lot of mental baggage. You can’t just get over that after a few sessions.

Nah you're just attempting to decipher something with limited clues and reaching for conclusions that aren't there tbh.

I feel for the boy I really do, but what he said last Summer he was told point blank by his agent not to. I know he's had a rough time but at the end of the day you can't keep running to the press to slag off your employer and not expect consequences.

I also have to wonder if this little episode has anything to do with all the other top end players being offered shiny new contracts and he hasn't???

Sure, he can't just get over it. But I do worry he's got a bit of grudge towards people at the club, and that's just not good for what we're trying do as a team.

He should’ve been sold last summer after his rant to the Sun. Again, he’s pointedly making it clear that his issues are with club football and the club. You can still feel sorry for him and sympathise with his depression but also think he’s acting like a little shit with Spurs

So poch knew Rose ask going to slag off his teammates and destabilise the club 3 days before the season?

I’d accepted that Rose was just in a very bad place and made a mistake but that’s just weird, why did poch allow that? Especially with the timing and paper of choice, so odd.

In terms of this I really feel for him and he’s clearly a very complex individual with many problems but I just can’t for the life of me see why he needs to keep doing these interviews to the media with sly digs at the club. Speak to your therapist and write as many books as you want when you retire but right now it’s just unprofessional.
