PSG is probably the perfect club for him at the moment. He's likely to end his trophy drought and get that monkey off his back. He'll get some valuable experience managing some of the biggest talents and egos in world football. He'll have a bigger budget to bring in the players he wants. And when he inevitable gets sacked in 2-3 years for not winning the Champions League, his reputation won't suffer as nobody outside of PSG expects PSG to win the Champions League.

I do feel you and others overrate Poch a tad. Did u ever feel confident going into a big match with Poch at the helm? We were very lucky reaching that CL final being ouyplayed by Ajax and City. The fact he felt the need to give out a biography at stage in his career is a big red flag to imo.

Best of luck to Poch and thanks for the memories, but if he doesn't dominate in France it's off to China next.

Whist you may think some overrate Poch, I would argue that there are those that underrate him.

You just have to look at what we achieved with such a limited budget to others and that's not even taking into account a season without a home ground.

This would be a fantastic move. He can spend 18 months, get sacked for not winning every single game and by that time he will be ready to come home.

I will for one follow every psg game from now on.

Most of the fans will be surprised to find out that not only Levy doesn't bring every first target for manager because that is the reason why Tuchel was in conflict with their sporting director Leonardo - and that was pretty much the only reason why Tuchel was sacked.

What was the issue - that they didn't get Tuchel's?

It was about time he got himself a new job, now he has as good a chance as anywhere to win something. Well, his job now directly depends upon it.

Edit - I assumed he'd got the job a bit prematurely!

There's an ignore button though. ;)
You're right of course Shady. Although I'd rather save the ignore button for some of the sarcastic narcissistic arseholes peppered about on here. I'm sure this poster does have some interesting things to say and I'd like to hear them. It's just this repetitive nonsense he spouts about the type of football we play that is tiresome, that's all. Others may agree with him but I dont.

There is a weird obsession with Poch on here.

He was a great for us, a wonderful manager. Did he have his flaws too? Yes. Am I grateful for the good times he gave us? Yes?

If he goes to PSG I wish him all the best. Will I watch lots of PSG games as a consequence? No, I support Spurs!

It’s like some fans on here, Twitter, other places support Poch over Spurs.

Weird!

there may be some odd bods who think like that. for many however it is really a massive appreciation of what he did and a sense that from certain quarters there is an effort to minimize what he did/ gloss over how he wasn't backed as well as he should
anyhow poch is off to psg and hopefully will do well - let's hope jose can get us a cup and snag top 4 so that we can keep harry and build next season

Best of luck to him.

He should win the league there, as nobody can really challenge them.

Some really pointless comments in here from both sides trying to get the other to bite.

It really is quite simple - genuinely wish you all the best Poch, apart from when you play against us.
I wasn't really trying to get others to bite yet the sad fact is that there are some who will do exactly that! You only have to go in the Jose thread to see how people are supporting Poch more than the club.

I do, however, wish Poch all the best and hope that he can win the CL with them. It will be a massive boost for him and will also give him so much needed know-how.
