Agree you see things different from your seat at Wembley to tv. Just don't like the suggestion we played so well. Conte wanted us to have all the ball, and he set his team up for a counter attack. The fact we played nice football meant nothing to the Chelsea Manager. We had no shots on goal apart from our two goals. Players like Toby made mistakes they never do

Was Harry's free kick that beat Courtois, went under his body and spun back so it didn't quite cross the line, was that not a shot on target?

Anyway, this is now about bottling it, not about how well they played. you may interpret defensive errors as bottling it if you like. I didn't see any evidence of that.

Is bottling it now synonymous with losing, or do you believe that we lost because we were scared to win?

If our fans are getting scared of the teams behind us catching us just because we lost a very tight game to the likely league champions then they're the ones who are bottling it.

We lost because we it was a semi final against Chelsea. We looked shaky at the back all game

I thought the occasion got to us early doors maybe the talk and pressure of trying to bag a trophy got to them.
I thought we have gone past this type of mindset it appears that is not the case more work is required.
How do you get winner tags and I get spam spam spam spam spam...

It's like a self fulfilling prophecy for some fans

When you look at Pogba this season it's not the amount you spend it's the value for money that you get for it. We have wasted close to a hundred million on players over the past few seasons since the Bale transfer that are no longer with us or cannot buy (pardon the phrase) a first team start.

Our recruitment has to improve and i would love us to buy quality over quantity and this off season get an experienced winner into the squad to add experience, guile and leadership because i just don't see that in this current side.

One or two quality players would in my opinion push us over the line.
No it won't because our rivals are going to continue to make their squads better. I think the window of opportunity to win something does not stay around forever. The 60 million we spent this summer should have been the difference maker. I don't see us having those kind of funds available this summer.

We lost because they scored more than we did. We made mistakes at the back that we usually get away with. Hazard made a huge difference. They scored with a once-in-a-career goal from a defender. We made mistakes but we also dominated not just possession but territory, and we created more chances and had more shots than they did. For spells they looked scared of us rather than the other way round, and not like a team content to let the opposition have the ball, otherwise they wouldn't have conceded so many corners and committed so many fouls.

All I'm saying is that football isn't always as simple as blaming defeat on the players' mentality just because some twat the radio or a few twitter arseholes think there's an actual connection between this team and the ones that have lost other semi-finals over the last 26 years.

And yet despite all the millions spent and super-coaches we were a couple annoying draws early season from being top of the league now. Have some faith. It feels good.

Sorry they probably were there and watching. I saw 3-4 errors we never make.each resulting in a goal. That's when the pressure gets too much. We passed it around very nicely sure, but Can you name a save the Chelsea keeper made all game?

I can name two he didn't.

To say we "made errors we never make" is futile, fact is that Chel$ea have a better squad, with players who have won Championships, and took their chances (five shots on goal and scored four, i think).

No team, however well they defend can live with that.

Wimmer, GKN, Sissoko and one or two other fringe players will go. The former three will want first team football and are nowhere near getting a regular start or in the case of GKN and Sissoko offer any impact from being subs as far as i can see.

Poch and Levy have had their fingers burnt on more than one occasion buying players that are woeful, and i mean fucking woeful. If we can fix this lottery way of buying players particularly given the fact that we have a very small budget then we can add excellent options to the squad.

There are more than enough PL experienced players that will not be playing CL footie next season that would come to Spurs, and as many i would guess not getting a game for top European sides.

Every other manager and player seems to be glorifying the way we play so why couldn't Poch and Levy entice one or two of these to the Club, especially given the facilities and stadium that we will be moving to come 2018?

It's interesting to note that Man City bottled it today. To a (much) lesser degree, so did Liverpool. Bottling.......Its fucking rife.

It's bollocks.

When we went 2-0 down at City, according to redcafe - "spurs have bottled it"

Pull it back to 2-2 - "city have bottled it"
