No, nothing
Yes they are carriers for Liverpool as well but it's the levels of debt they have that is the worrying thing regardless of what they are making that one weekend.

Plus they promised confirmation of bookings end of last week I believe and so far nothing , has anyone from phase 3 received confirmation yet.
No, nothing - apparently they’ll let us know today but not holding my breath ?
I now have an email from Thomas Cook promising......,another 24 hour wait ?

Hi

Thank you for your email, apologies for the delay in responding, as you can imagine we are extremely busy at the moment, we are aiming to update all customers within the next 24 hours.

Thanks Michelle

Obviously a sensible idea regardless, but anybody who booked the TC flights and didn't pay with a credit card (debit does not work the same way) should definitely make sure they've got travel insurance that covers it. Otherwise in the worst case scenario the flight doesn't run and you may not get your money back.

Thanks for the update.
What a shambles of a company. I originally thought this was down to them trying to lay on extra flights etc, but am beginning to worry that it is something to do with their financial situation, but surely this is one revenue stream that will go some way to pulling them out of it - they are charging us more than a return to Hong Kong/Singapore etc.

In a way, is it good news we've not been rejected yet?

Apparently Spurs passed on the information late according to one angry tweeter ...

Anyone ever had trouble with an Airbnb booking?

Booked apartment 5 days ago... All confirmed and money taken. But had no contact from the host. Messaged them (through airbnb) when booked and texted them today but had no response... :nailbiting:

We signed up to one but my mate pulled the plug as it was only created the day after the semi final and had no reviews. Tread carefully folks. We’re all desperate to do this and some vultures can smell that and are ready to swoop.

I have never used Airbnb before until this trip... im a proper hotel snob

Anyways they had emailed us and gave great instructions. The reviews werent the best for the place with pubes found upon entry etc but fuck it - who cares... cost an arm and a leg for a shitty two bed 20 mins out of the city but 10 minutes from the plaza Shithole which was a pleasant coincidence.

Surely there can only be a certain number of extra flights you can squeeze into an already busy airport over 24hrs, specially as other airlines are trying to do the same.

You’re right which is why I suspect we will be flying at ungodly hours when they can fit us in. Last to take off at departure and first to land at destination. Just guessing though to be honest- need some clarity so we all know what’s going on......

Copied this tweet (not very well)
We've spoken with @SpursOfficial. @thomascooksport is aiming to contact all those waiting to hear from them TONIGHT. We understand they are trying to source a bigger aircraft to meet demand, hence the delay. We have no more info at this stage but will share when we do. Thanks.

Looking more and more likely we will be strapped to a pallet in the back of an Antonov!??

Must have been after they finished selling the tickets then so possibly understandable. People in phase 2 on here said that they had received confirmation of a seat so it’s probably just us plebs in later phases left hanging

Well, that’s annoying
Thanks for the link using them to get back on the 2nd June.
Going out on Wednesday via Palma, Majorca and connection later to Madrid £150 each.

Norwegian Airlines to get back set me back £350 each.

So far my total bill in 1120 for the two of us including tickets.

£100 cheaper than Thomas Cook. could not wait any longer for them to confirm.

One of my son’s is going Friday to Düsseldorf, then fly to Seville and then train. Pretty good price too.
