Arm was away from the body - ball on target towards the goal. You are not going to find many more obvious handball pens than that.

That doesn't matter though. There's nothing in the rules about the ball being on target. I think there should be, but there isn't at the moment and the ref can't make decisions on what he thinks the rules should be.
The rules do say that is a penalty if the hand/arm moves towards the ball, but he was actually moving his arm away from the ball.

Morata goal chalked off for VAR after another long delay.

The ref in Atleti-Juve has dealt better with the VAR calls than the City ref but again, this one took unacceptably long.

Peak Spurs will be reached when all the big boys get knocked out and we lose to Schalke or Lyon in the Semi's.

Just kidding we're going to win the double.

Arm was away from body - thats a pen all day long - does not matter if he is trying to get his arm out of the way - it has the effect of making his body bigger and it stopped a goal. You won't find many easier pen calls than that.

Terrible VAR decision to disallow that goal from Morata - the slightest of touches in the back of chiellini so he throws himself to he ground knowing it will look far worse in slow motion replay and get disallowed when it goes to VAR

It won’t be smooth sailing for City in the return leg as Fernandinho & Otamendi will be suspended.

You would still fancy city to go through even with a 2-1 defecit though. If pool and city go out then it would benefit them both in the league but for us it woukd actually remove 2 teams in which least suit us imo. Id start getting excited about our chances if they both went out and nwhl opened for the quarters.

They could still go through but Man City won’t win the champions league. It will be one of the traditional clubs. There’s a reason it’s always the same winners. They have history of handling these games.
