From what I read yesterday it sounded like you can only get in via the coefficient route if you finish 5th in your league?
Every team above you has to also be in the CL group stage. So 6th can make it if 5th is also going to qualify through coefficient, or wins the Europa or Champions Leagues.

Theoretically based on the rules reported, you could even have something like this:

1. Man City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. Leicester
5. West Ham (win Europa League)
6. Tottenham (win Champions League)
7. Man United (qualify based on coefficient)
8. Arsenal (qualify based on coefficient)

And end up with 8 English teams in the CL, although that's supremely unlikely.
