Yeah lets hope PSV continue to win in the league and keep pressure on Ajax. They got 5 games to go in the league, will be fighting on both fronts for the first leg, second leg might be different.

Apparently the Dutch league have cancelled a whole round of midweek fixtures and pushed them back to May 15 to give Ajax as much rest and help as possible for the semi final.

Unfortunately the TV obligations for that league mean they can pretty much do what they want.
We play in the most popular and watched league in club football, so that won't happen in our league.
Moving our fixture to allow us the best chance to progress as possible should definitely happen, it probably won't but it should.

What happens to our Monday night game Vs Bournemouth? Will that be rearranged?!

Also Ajax have a cup final between the 2 legs

Not sure if having too much of a rest dys will do us good too IMO.. We don't tend to do too bad when the games coming thick and fast..

I agree, and hope the game is just moved from the Monday to the weekend. Playing Monday Wednesday might be a bit too much!

Hope they announce it soon as can't see where else they would move the game too anyway.

I'd imagine they're looking at a straight swap with the City-Leicester game early Saturday.

City won't want to switch as they'll play after Liverpool then. Could try the Friday evening as it's a nothing fixture and the teams there are more likely to swap with us

Just found out today that our semi-final is being shown live here in Ireland on Rte2 (free land telly)
.
That's cheered me up after today's 'disappointment'

Just glad I don't have to watch on Virgin tv again. It's like watching it through a plastic sheet

I can't even be bothered to watch this tonight. I might tune in to the second leg if Barca have a 5-0 lead.
