I dont have the sound on so not sure what been said.
But you have to try and win the ball not to get a red. Koscielny didnt try to make a challange and bundled the Bayern player over, so red was correct.

That makes sense. So it's considered a professional foul rather than, say, a desperate and ultimately mistimed challenge.

That was neither a pen, a yellow or a red, and is a perfect example of why I don't watch German football. They play an effeminate game somewhat related to football but where grown men collapse to the ground when slightly touched then whine like little bitches.

Shame their next game is a bye in the FA Cup rather than a few more potential points dropped.

Haven't seen the game but some people talking about another dodgy ref.

We also had absolutely useless refs in Europe this year. Why are they always dodgy in Europe? Something else at play I say.
