Their bigness is wholly predicated upon each of them having one unprecedented epoch of success. Both of them could easily lose that global popularity with a sustained period of mediocrity - Liverpool, particularly, are in danger of this. Can we ever be as big as they are now? With an immense epoch of success, sure, why not. Is that likely to happen? Given the huge wonga influxes at Citeh and Chelsea, and United's massive headstart in stadium capacity, and in other ways, I think we will be doing well to temporarily eclipse United on the pitch, contend with Citeh/Chelsea, win a few trophies and maybe pick up a league or two, very well, in fact. So I can't really see it happening, but, hey - onwards and upwards, eh (y)

There's the danger then of us being bought by some greedy, profit oriented american fatcats.

That danger has been there for a while.
According to rumour, a certain Ruskie Mafioso was interested before being told to clear off with his criminal ways. He moved further down the feeding chain lloking for somewhere with less tradition, history and class (y)

My personal take is that it would be a horrible thang, but if UEFA and their FFP regs are going to do nothing, eventually every team that can may as well cut cards with the Devil :barefoot:

Fuck yeah we will bitches.

We're gonna replace that cockerel with a bald eagle that will constantly stream the Lee Greenwood song "God Bless the USA". We will get rid of beer and only sell Mountain Dew and Diet Coke. Do you own a lark? No? Then don't come to Fat Hart Lane where you only get in with a BMI of 30+ and if you can see your balls, your too skinny. Also "half-time" will be a gun fight between the Park Lane and Paxton, which will be renamed Joseph McCarthy Stand and Rush Limbaugh Lane. And none of those faggot (cause we hate the gays) hand guns. Real macho guns that are semi-automatic but surprisingly made out of corn by-product. Also there will be a statue outside the ground of Ronald McDonald and Mickey Mouse playing American Football, cause that's how we roll. I support the troops, hate taxes and own a Hummer and you will too if you want to remain a fan of Tooting Hams.

The great thing about this post, is that there are people that actually think it's true.
