The summer of 2023 really is a crucial one for Tottenham Hotspur as they look to move forward as a club after a few difficult years in N17. Spurs have just not progressed since Mauricio Pochettino left in November 2019 and fans are desperate for the return an attacking and exciting brand of football.

It's all very dependent on who we get as a manager and whether he wants to play 3 or 4 at the back. Makes a huge difference to what sort of CBs we should be looking for. Romero's the only safe one for my money, and probably Ben Davies as a squad option. Bit undecided on Lenglet since I think a lot of our defensive frailties come from lack of cover from the pivot midfield. Same with Dier to an extent. Both would ideally be upgraded but if I had to keep one it would be Lenglet for various reasons.

yup. keep romero, no-one else should be a regular first team option. upgrading our spine is the key for the whole team.

I think tanganga needs a run of games before we completely write him off- I’d like to see him get a premier league loan next season

I pray we end up playing only 2 CHs under the next manager. I'd keep Romero, and Davies but more as cover. Get rid of the rest.

Sign pace, so we can play a higher line more often.

Would like us to go all out for Araujo. Think he's going to be a star and reminds me a lot of VanDijk.

The only one who we'd need to buy...which makes him the least likely one we'll keep if the aim is to upgrade on all of them.
