I’m torn as I don’t like Fury, but I had Francis in front for that fight.

To be honest I think all those toothless jabs added up for fury. They weren't hurting Francis but they were scoring points.

FN was only scoring with the big punches. I had it tight but I thought he'd knick it on scoring punches.

This face off is a shambles too and embarrassing . So anticlimactic after that. I think both fury and usyk are embarrassed to hype this after that.

You have to hope that was an off night for Tyson and lifestyle/age isn’t catching up to him as he looked awful
In there tonight.

Normally a master at figuring his opponent out but Francis had his number and although Fury pinched the inactive rounds if Francis pumped out a few jabs in those quiet rounds he’d have walked away with a U/D

Was a much better fight than I was expecting, in a way.
Ngannou could certainly have a decent crack at boxing given this was his first fight, especially when you look around the current heavyweights out there.
It was a close fight and I don't think Fury took it all that seriously before the fight and was a bit shocked by what was in front of him.
He was pretty sloppy overall and lacking some of the sharpness he has when he's properly fired up.

Not overly shocked by the result as the jab was probably the thing that won it, although Ngannou was certainly throwing the more eye-catching stuff.

I'd actually quite like to see him take on AJ, I reckon he could take him out quite easily.

I put money on Ngannou to win I've always thought Fury is very overrated, I was really hoping he'd spark him out because there was no way he was going to win on the cards. I've watched all the build up to this fight and there was no fear of Fury in Ngannou.

Boxing is fixed part umpteen thousand. It’s enough with the sport, tbh. It’s all fixed. I cant be bothered with it.

Spot on. If he had of pushed harder in the latter rounds he'd have won, but the only one scoring points in the last couple of rounds was Fury. Yeah they weren't hurting Ngannou at all, but then again they don't need to. Mayweather was pound for pound the best fighter on the world for the best part of a decade and his punches were soft as shit(relatively speaking).

If it was scored by MMA judges he'd have won, but boxing is scored differently and the level of aggression and damage caused isn't what matters, landing clean hits are.

Fury won the fight purely because of his jab racking up scoring blows round after round. You might not agree with him “winning” the fight overall, but he won the boxing match due to that alone. If Fury fights like that against Usyk I think he’ll be made a fool of.

Absolutely, Fury won none of the ‘fighting’ tonight but was wily enough to nick rounds not doing a lot of anything.

He’ll use his size and weight to slow Usyk down but the craftsman Usyk is he’s not gonna be able to pinch rounds like that, Furys performance tonight has made that a little more interesting than i thought it’d be.

Usyk is an absolute master of getting in and out of range after landing his own shots. I can’t see Fury’s tactics of grabbing and leaning etc having a lot of success against him. His footwork is so insanely good that he can get out of range in whichever direction suits him best at the time. When he was at cruiserweight in his prime he was absolutely mesmerising but he’s still far too good at it now for Fury to pin him down in my opinion.
