What is the point of Ryan Sessegnon?
He is the slowest-minded player I think I have ever seen, he gets in down the left but has absolutely nothing in his locker. No sense of where he is, where attackers or defenders are, and most of the time no idea where the ball is either. Shocking player.

really disorganized in the back at the moment. people don't seem to know who to cover. tells you how valuable Dier is.

It doesn’t because Dier as of late likes gifting the opposition goals. No point being a good organiser when you keep making fatal errors yourself.

What I don’t see is any patterns of play or any build up play that looks practiced. Just can’t believe how far we have regressed this season

Our back 5 simply not PL quality AT ALL.

Sess, Royal, Davies and Sanchez would be lucky to start regularly for any other PL side.

Dier, Perisic and Doc aren't much better. Romero the only one looking like he has a place in a top 10 PL side.

I swear if Royal's name was Des Smith and we'd signed him from Chester City would people be as patient with his performances? The guy is totally out of his depth. He can't attack, he can't defend and he's no use in transition.
Yeah, but other than that he’s world class! ??

We’ve been this poor all season. This is why people were worried despite the positive results. We are absolutely terrible.
All the evidence pointed to the fact we were picking up more points than our performances deserved.

yet many were being criticised for being upset with how we were playing.

Sanchez and Romero on the right gives us no confidence of retaining possession. We are playing Skipp in some kind of advanced role which is not what he is about. Why is he not at the base of the midfield and let Bissouma go forward. Bentancur will be on at half time.

Such a boring team.

So then you are saying that the manager has nothing to do with it because he doesn't play?

I'm so sick of this argument. Managers should add value to their players. Make them better, not worse! This style of football is outdated and will never, ever, work at Spurs. Not ever.

It is not Contes fault that our players cant pass the ball. His job is to open the pass up for them, which he does, their job is to complete the pass, which they dont.

Can't wait for Eric Dier to come on as our attacking route back into the game.

This is why we need Dier - he brings some sort of organisation at the back even if you dont think he is the best, he organises that defence. At the moment its chaos. Bournemouth look more likely to score a second than we scoring a first
We always happen to need the player who isn’t playing…

The irony is, we're supposed to be a DEFENSIVE side. And yet we always go down a goal. How can Conte not see this?
There's a world of difference between being "defensive" i.e - risk averse and being "defensively solid" i.e - restricting the opposition to low percentage chances. We're the former not the latter.

When 9 of your starting 11 can be described as "workmanlike" you know it's not gonna be a pleasant watch.

The thing is they’re described as workmanlike but they’re not even working harder than their opposition. Could handle workmanlike if we were absolutely rock solid keeping clean sheets. Opponents are finding it far too easy to create big chances every match right now.

So our attack is slow, ponderous and easy to defend against and our defence is weak as a new born kitten.

Really over this team.

Starting to look rather ominous for Conte. Second weekend in a row I’ve seen our starting XI and immediately thought, ‘That’s nowhere near good enough to win the game’. If Conte can’t see that then he isn’t going to fix this current slide, and the football isn’t remotely good enough to justify any patience.

The sooner Kulu and Richy are back the better. And we need a bit of Gil

We need a bit of magic to get us out of these turgid games
