13 losses in the league is not good enough, we have been shocking recently. Cant score in a brothel. No two ways about it.

Would you prefer 7 losses and 6 draws and not being in a Champions League semi final?

the fucking semantics going on here. United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all performing worse in the league with nothing like our injury or stadium problems.

GET A FUCKING GRIP YOU BOTTLING MENTALLY WEAK SHIT SUPPORTER

See how easy it is to do that?

Mate 100% agree but some so called fans are just hopeless, gutless and almost seem to be gleeful when they have a chance to have a go.

The number of fans who said WE don't deserve CL so therefor hope we get Europa is bananas!

Could you imagine if Poch had spent a couple hundred million, we had a home stadium the past 2 years, didn't have a massive WC semi final hangover and avoided major injuries and were still as shit as, say, the goons - wow - they'd want him deported!
100% spot on both of you.

I’m annoyed at the individual brain farts of all of Son, Dier, Foyth and Toby today but the loss didn’t bother me too much and there is no way as a collective that given the circumstances this season and how the teams performing that I will be anything other than utterly positive toward the squad and the manager at the end of it all.

We have now had to deal with:
-most players of any team deep into the 2018 World Cup = most amount of players who will be burnt out come back end of the season
-new stadium was constantly delayed which is bound to have had a negative effect on the players, manager and fans throughout the season
-our captain was caught drink driving and had to miss a few games to get his head straight as a result
-no new signings for 2 transfer windows
-Son was away at Asian games = missed key games and is further burntout
-Injuries at key times in the season to a combination of:
Kane
Son
Dele
Dier
Winks
Vegntonghen
Lloris
Aurier
Wanyama
Rose
Sissoko

I think most of us at the start and early parts of the season given all of this barring forseeing the injuries, would’ve expected a realistic finish of 5/6th this season and an early exit from the CL, however we’ve been 3rd most of the season and are in the CL Semi finals so I think given all of this we can excuse the players and manager too much blame for this end of season blip of form as I think it’s just all catching up with them really.

Not to mention all of this, Man.U,Arsenal and Chelsea are making an even bigger job of cocking up top 4 than we are and they all have spent far more than ya recently in improving their squad so a bit of perspective please people.

Fingers crossed for one last final push and then a big sort out this summer so we can go all guns blazing from
The start of next season.

A couple random observations:

1) How Lerma was allowed to TORMENT our players repeatedly and then Son gets shown red for justifiable anger seems entirely arbitrary and unfair. Yes, stupid response from Sonny, but seriously, the EPL must address this ridiculousness. And Lerma? Wow, he's a dirty player. Next time we play them, he will get (legally) roughed up.

2) Spurs were rampant in the first half, BUT B'mouth looked dangerous on the break. When we went down to 9 men and had no other option but to put everyone behind the ball, it exposed just how little quality they have. Pace yes, but touch and invention, NO NO NO. They only scored because they overloaded the box and caught Wanyama sleeping on a 50/50 header.

3) Dier has demonstrated yet again he is a liability. Not good enough in ANY phase of the game, and a red card waiting to happen. He must go.

A great post.

I was devastated yesterday. When I saw Sonny being sent off I just knew it wasn't going to be our day. It's worrying because I don't know where the next goal will come from. The last one was against Brighton from Eriksen. West Ham, Ajax and Bournemouth - nothing.

But we have to keep hope. Two must win games. If the lads turn up we have a chance. Running on an empty tank now that is for sure. We need those three points from the Everton game. That is critical.

On the Lerma observation, will he be booked under Var next season for the shoulder barge? And then a second yellow for the ankle stamp and the theatrics?

Having now seen the videos posted earlier, I don't really blame Son nearly as much as I did during the match itself. Lerma gets off completely scot-free for BOTH a blatant and late shoulder barge into Son's chest AND and intentional and malicious stamp on Son's hand.

When a player gets targeted in that manner it's totally normal for there to be a bit of afters, and you virtually never see a simple shove warrant more than a yellow card. So Son is taking a booking (999 times out of a thousand) to stand up for himself because the ref is completely neglecting his duty to keep Lerma under control.

I'm obviously biased but I'd argue that both of Lerma's incidents -- in particular the stamp -- were far more representative of the criteria for violent conduct than Son's push. How often do you see a stamp elicit a red card, versus a shove? The former is a thousand times more common than the latter, yet the latter warrants a sending off in Pawson's eyes and the former goes completely unpunished!

To make matters worse, having decided that a shove is a red card offense the referee then turns a blind eye to Son himself having been shoved. Different standards applied to the same offense within seconds of one another. The entire buildup to and aftermath of the sending off were an absolute disgrace.

If Son had reacted to the stamp in the same way Lerma reacted to the push then it's Bournemouth who are down to 10 men not us. Dark arts and all that. Refs still a prick tho.

Poch is obviously fuming. I think he will have the guys absolutely pumped up for the next two games. COYS

I reckon he's upset that the mindless bottlejob culture he has worked diligintly to eradicate will seemingly not be killed off. At some point, after years of coaching and working on mentality and competitiveness, you think the grown ups going on the field will avoid nonsense. Maintain a level of basic professionalism and competence. Unfortunately not.

It's a massive ask now to overturn our form for the next two matches. We have done well, it has been a successful season, but they've let themselves down massively in the league for many weeks now.

I'd have liked him to get them pumped for West Ham/Ajax/Bournemouth. Anyone expecting a strong reaction from this group is being overly optimistic I fear.

On point 1, Lerma should have been absolutely clattered by one of ours. Take a yellow but show him he won’t get away with it. Dier being on an early yellow meant he couldn’t be the one so somebody else should have stepped up

Lermer had collected 12 yellows
before yesterday's game.
The deliberate block on Son
under the referee's nose
should have been 13 at least.
His role in the team is clear
or should have been
to any ref
that does his homework.

Doesn't excuse Son though.

I've said it before "What's the point of a £1 billion stadium with no top football or players in it" We should have stayed at the Lane and spent that money on players and wages, won trophies then built the stadium. We did it arse up to me.

Clueless. The stadium is what gives us the funds to continue to compete at the top.

It’s also not like we had £1bn in cash we spunked on the stadium - about £700m of that was borrowed, so wouldn’t have been available for player transfers.

It also shows existing players and potential signings we are serious about becoming a massive force in the footballing world.

I think reaching the Champions League final would attract more players than another top four finish. Of course, I would love both. In fact I would just love a win at the moment!

Reaching the champions league final but not qualifying for next year would not help us attract players at top players want champions league football. Even average players do too...

Five losses in our last six with two tough games to come. Poch needs to see this team over the line, but if we go out against Ajax does anyone see a response against Everton?

As a fan, I can handle the disappointment of losing to Ajax in a CL SF. I don't think I can handle a loss or draw to Everton and being relegated to the Europa Cup.

It will be tough to take, very tough. Especially when you have other fans in your ear saying this is what Spurs do, let you down etc lol

West Ham should of been a cup final, but we fucked up big time there.

Without Kane we've no leaders or strong enough mentalities to step up and pull us over the line.

For me what it comes down to now is sheer workrate. We must play like men possessed, but controlled, and out work Everton and then take our chances.

It's the only way.

We haven’t scored for 450 minutes - and with Son - I just have no idea where the goals are coming from v Everton. Dele, Eriksen and Moura are the only hope

Son was punched in the back which is what provoked him.

https://t.co/pWWs1zVaZG

And the the perpetrator throws himself down holding his face to get Son sent off. That needs to be reviewed and reversed but we all know it won’t be.

The thing is, when was the last time a player was given a straight red for pushing an oppo player? I can't remember either!!!! Didn't see the game live, but watched MOTD, ref seemed a bit of a biased prick although Dier seemed to be just being a twat and Foyth just feckin stupid after seeing Son get a red for a push!!!!
