Talent wise Mason is head and shoulders above all of them. He's not short, he's just weedy. Taller than RK I'd say, seen him 5 or 6 times. The boy can hit a shot from all angles and distances, he can pick a pass long or short, his control and first touch is excellent and he has pace too. I've got my heart set on him being our long term little man up front when Keane and Defoe are both on the scrapheap. He's barely 18 I belive, but give him 2 or 3 years and I think he can be a name on all our lips.

I do really like the sound of this lad and hope we keep hold of him and introduce him into the first team squad over time.

It would be excellent if both him and Obika were able to make the grade and became our first choice partnership in the future.
