Swansea is a good seat for an up and coming manager. I'm not sure Bob Bradley is the man I would have picked. An American yes-man for their American owners.

Its similar to the Gary Neville appointment.

Not anti American at all. But in general American's often seem overly media trained in comparison with British people and can sound a little disingenuous when being interviewed, and they say what they're supposed to say instead of what they actually think.

I guess in your eyes Bradley's not a #truther :(

Yeah, hiring an experienced manager at Swansea is just like giving a gobby pundit the job at a huge club as a novice because he's best mates with the owner. Of course Bradley's experience isn't really high level, but they're not really comparable situations, he has actually been a manager for a long time. I also reckon he'll probably beat 3 wins in 16 league games or whatever it was Neville managed (managed in the loosest sense).

An experienced manager in mickey mouse leagues that has never managed in England. Bye bye Swansea! Deserve it for such a daft appointment.

Huw Jenkins:
"Unfortunately things haven't worked out as planned and we felt we had to make the change with half the Premier League season remaining.

"With the club going through such a tough time, we have to try and find the answers to get ourselves out of trouble."

Yet, the papers are saying it will probably be Ryan Giggs. His first proper job, and with no experience of being in a relegation battle as a player. They would need someone like Allardyce, but they are a week too late for that.

He was clearly a terrible appointment. Thing is, as long as American Rugby, Bouncy Netball, slippery Hockey and Rounders are the main sports (and you can probably put things like NASCAR in front of football) then of course America will produce average players and managers. It's not a hate America thing it's a sociological thing, for lack of a better word.

Bradley was clearly out of his depth but he also got a lot of flack for just being american which is really dumb.

They made a mistake in getting rid of Monk and so taking the club away from the way of doing things that had brought them great success rising through the leagues

No he didn't... nobody said he is useless because he is American. He was appointed despite not having the necessary experience to manage a club like Swansea and it was quite transparently a poor appointment from the beginning. His awful record there has validated that opinion.

He was appointed because he was American....which was really dumb.

Being American probably got him a chance at the job but being American isn't why he failed.
He didn't have the experience needed for the Premier league and the investors didn't have the experience to know that, it's been a steep learning curve but at least they may now have learned.
