Historic day for American soccer. Think he can do well there. If there's anyone who can get something out of very little to nothing, it's him. Not the sexiest name and will surely bring on a ton of shit but he's managed a country in a legitimate war zone and managed a club with absolutely no money at all and took it to 2nd in the league in Norway. Lets be honest, there is very little to Swansea.

Good luck to him. I'm intrigued to see how he does.

Seems like an appointment that can only really be explained by the fact that the American owners saw the chance to have an American in charge.

No surprise that Guidolin has been given the heave-ho but I suspect there were better options than Bradley available from a purely footballing perspective.

Best of luck to him though. I've always quite liked Swansea since they came up and it would be a shame to see them relegated. Should be enough dross below them this season (Hull, Burnley and Sunderland at least) but he needs a few wins to get them away from it all fairly soon.

Good luck to Bradley but I think he is going to find it very difficult.

There's no doubt it'll be extremely difficult but ill give him the benefit of the doubt for a bit. He took Egypt, with no football league, to 1 game from the World Cup in the middle of of a civil war and massive political turmoil before managing a club with legitimately no money at all. He's faced adversity before. Needs to do well off the bat though to silence the abundance of critics

Have no sympathy whatsoever for that bent match fixing piece of shit getting sacked.

The last one "what the fuck has happened to our club?" we're they under the illusion they were a big club or something?!
To be fair to Swansea fans they have steadily grown over a few years playing good football and outgoing Players and Managers have been replaced well. They seem to have hit a bump in the continuity. Which is bound to happen as football doesn't run smoothly forever.

Ye I've been watching. But my point is how far exactly were they expecting the club to go if employing a good up and coming manager results in a "what the fuck has happened to our club." Bit of an overreaction I think, like...you're not all of a sudden becoming Villa.

Football fan over-reacts. Doesn't seem plausible... :cautious: But then when you live in a bubble of the club you love every reaction you have is detached from the reactions of those looking in. Apart from Spurs of course. We are perfectly rational people at all times.

Interesting appointment. I've wanted to see what he could do in the Premier League for a while. Obviously not at Tottenham though.

He was strongly linked with Villa a few seasons back. And the way they're going he'll probably have a few months there at some point, although not in the Premier League.
