Quicker than corlukaFair enough - it's all subjective. Dier may be able to cross the ball, when I look at him I see a 6ft 4in centre-back who's slow on the turn and is never going to be as athletic as Kyle Walker. He's just not a right-back, for me.
I was impressed with him today. He is quicker than I thought and does great at providing an outlet on that left flank. He is very reliable with the ball and I think he is underrated when it comes to popping up in good positions for the attack.
Above all else, he is a very reliable defender for us when he is put in there, and, as the saying goes, defenders are supposed to defend.
