I see that Becks is gonna join AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season. Now, personally I see this as a missed oppurtunity. Considering our complete lack of leadership I think he probably could have come in and done a job for us.

What do you think?

No.

He may be a dead ball specialist but he hasn't got the legs for the prem anymore

Is he really going there? Shit. Well yes I wouldn't have said no, to play in the centre, but if Milan came in what are you going to do? He said a long time ago he would never play for another English team and I think he is true to his word. Beckham and Dinho. Nice.

I don't think he was ever going to play for a premiership side other than Man Utd, who don't want him. And we don't really need a media circus right now.

It's not a missed opportunity. By all means slag off the board for screwing up so far this season, but let's not beat ourselves up over fantasies like Beckham suddenly signing for us.

I thought he was just going to train and not to play. He just wants to pro-long his England 'getting pointless caps' international career.

Good luck to him. I'm sort of glad he hasn't come here (Lennon & Bentley - despite Bentley's current form) but i hope we get AC in the latter stages of the UEFA cup so i can cheer his name when it's read out. Fucking love him.

He is a leader in his own way but he's not what we need right now. We need Diarra and Arshavin and a few current players to come out of their shells and play like they can.

Yes, not sure he would have been great for us, although he might have been a decent influence in the centre if he still had the legs. He should suit Italy well though.

:) I was actually going to put (if he did join Spurs) because his legs aren't up to it anymore, the boo boys will set in and do their best to ruin the reputation of one of the best players we've seen for a long time. I'd rather watch him at the Lane playing for someone else - and admire him quietly.

Haven't we got enough England right wing rejects already?

Why dont we see if Tony Daley and Ruel Fox want to come out or retirement.

The president of Milan confirmed he was going to play

Oh right, didn’t realise. Good luck to him. Personally I think two right mids is enough for Spurs. We have the new Beckhamkindofbutnotreallybutpotentially in Bently so why do we need the real one?
