The pundits think (probably just guessing) it was a hamstring for Micky but there's no way they'd let him back out after half time if it was. You can't "run off" a hamstring issue.

When he went down his hand went to his hamstring, so my first thought was hamstring like the pundits as that is normally what players do.

Honestly - it was vindication for the Cash tackle - because it was eerily similar - hard kick to the leg from behind/side, with no intent of playing the ball.

Too many people - even here - suggesting Cash's tackle on Bentancur was just an ordinary YC. It was reckless and dangerous - as McGinn found out today.

Fair play mate. So many were quick to complain about him, but he's got the talent and he's upped the work rate.

Great performance from us. The one thing that stood out was we stayed in control and didn't lose the midfield at any point. They were just long balls all the way.

Yeah but he does vacate the middle of the pitch a lot. I might be talking shit but we took the ball of them loads in the middle of the park early 2nd half and I wondered whether he was taking up positions too wide or which made it tougher for them to play out. I know they Tielamans and DL in there still tho

At last a performance we're more than capable of. 4 goals and a clean sheet at Villa Park is a fantastic result and hopefully one we can build on. Maddison and Bissouma much, much better than of late and then Bentancur comes on and purrs. Bit concerned about Mickey but hopefully it's nothing serious and Dragusin looked the part when he came on. McGinn red card was so, so stupid but we had them frustrated straight after half time. Onwards and upwards. COYS!!
