Fair fucks to Kolasniac. He seems a big lad, the little twats on the moped must've shit themselves.
Ozil taking us to task...
View attachment 53336
Thing is, I'm confused by a couple of things:
a) Original tweet makes no sense. Surely it's why was he TAKING the photo? Unless it's a reference to being invisible against United.
b) Was Ozil so bored that he went searching for his name on Twitter? He wasn't tagged in the original post...
It took Ozil FOUR DAYS to reply to that tweet, and that's the best he could do. Clearly he's not spending any of that ill-gotten £350k a week on comedy writers.
Its a bizarre incident alright. It might just have been a clumsy attempt from some of those berks at AFTV to get an interview!. Robbie, Troopz and the rest will do anything to get their likes, viewing and subscriber numbers up
Sure - given the thread I was being flippant, but it is a worrying trend in our society. Footballers seem to be getting targeted quite regularly these days eg Andy Carroll a few years ago, and I am sure they are getting briefed as to the best ways of protecting themselves and their property. This is not sitting right with me. I'd love to see the full footage.
It's a scary thing no doubt potentially getting killed - surely they wouldn't stage something like this to get hero status ?
I'd imagine SK has been told by his agent, AFC and their insurance companies to change his
lifestyle and maybe pay for some security out of his mega wages when in dangerous areas.

Not all of them are psychotic apes like Duncan Ferguson who practically dis membered those two burglars he found on his property a few years ago - an incident I have just remembered while typing this.
You must be glad to be living back in Ireland these days.
I live in golders green and haven’t noticed any knife wielding moped gangs myself. I have noticed the blatantly obvious drug dealers standing outside the costa coffee. As for Dublin I’m not to sure about the no go areas as its a big place for a small city where about’s are we talking?I am indeed glad to be back here @Buggsy61 - mostly because of my kids 21/18/16
My English hometown was Hertford for 26 years - the place is now a mugging robbing zone, mostly drugs related with drug users getting money for their fixes. Not a safe place anymore with outsiders also coming in on the trains.
With Ozil/SK one of the things I'm trying to get my head around is the '10 or 15 minute chase' across Finchley/Golders Green. I know the area well and I just can't see knife wielding moped riders hanging around in full public view trying to pursue a victim and get caught in broad daylight..
If I was in a G wagen or any other motor with my wife I would get a bit active with the steering wheel and try to run the fuckers over while the Mrs is on the phone to the old bill.
As for Ireland , it's a shame crime has caught up here in the cities, part of Dublin are no go areas with feral gangs operating, there are plenty of manslaughters all over the land but unfortunately most of the bad stuff is men against women.
Sad times

I can't deny that Ireland IMO is at a bit of crossroads with itself. The government are not looking after the people with the homeless crisis and the housing crisis, gang violence on the rise and an Garda Siochana having limit resources to stop it. I won't however take your second link as a credible source although it does contain stories of violence and social issues from credible sources it looks to have an agenda behind it.

Don't forget that there have been numerous sophisticated burglaries of Merseyside players whilst they were away on European duty. I think they ended up calling the gang 'the away crew' or something. Not sure they were ever caught, but it got ridiculous at one point. These criminals know footballers have a lot of spare cash, expensive watches and bling, so its not surprising really that they are targeted to some extent.2 incidents in 3 years is quite regular I suppose ?
