Joyous celebrations around the Emirates as football rules are manipulated in order to facilitate a level playing field for Goons.

Wenger says "I didn't zee it", and - looking visibly upset - added "No, Theo is happy, we expect him to stay"

Seems Woolwich and Kroenke are now risking the wrath of the Animal Rights Movement, with an online hunting channel MOTV!.

Arsenal Fan TV posted this today

ArsenalFanTV‏ @ArsenalFanTV
Stan Kroenke has launched a TV channel dedicated to trophy hunting (killing wild animals)

Sickening.

I echo the sentiment.. but laughed that they had to clarify what 'trophy hunting' meant, as if it might be confused for winning Emirates Cups.

I'm guessing 3 points for a win and a bonus point per goal. Bit ridiculous.

Even that system still shouldn't hand the trophy to the goon squad though.
Arsenal 5-2 Benfica (3 points & 5 bonus)
Arsenal 1-2 Sevilla (1 bonus point)
Total - 9 points

Sevilla 1-0 Leipzig (3 points & 1 bonus)
Arsenal 1-2 Sevilla (3 points & 2 bonus)
Total - 9 points

They just put in a system that as good as guarantees them the trophy every year.

I'd love to see a fair fight, with no weapons, between a bear and Fatty Kroenke.

Whilst we're at it, we could toss Trump's idiot sons into the arena.

Bear 3 Humanity 0 (and greatly improved for it). :)

This..they've realeased a statement saying all the hunts are 'fair', unless they've given the animals high powered rifles or the hunters are going hand to hand with the animals how the fuck can it be described as fair?

How anyone can even call it a Sport is quite staggering, it's twisted that anyone would choose to kill an animal for fun and enjoyment.

My definition of a sport: each team or individual taking part has the same objective. The rules or laws of that sport and the regulations of a specific competition are codified and known to, and agreed upon by, all concerned, and there are officials present to make sure everything's fair and above board. That covers it, I think.
Frankly, I think if you get off by killing animals or watching them dying in the name of 'sport', you're beyond help as a human being, and you need some serious help urgently.

There's a direct correlation between people who harm animals and people who harm other people.
I cannot comprehend what goes through these people's minds...it's vile.

Would you say that about everyone who watches the Grand National?

I don't think people who watch the National want the horses, let alone jockeys, to suffer injury. I can't imagine anybody at a racecourse gets any pleasure when an injured horse has to be dispatched. That's the difference. Kroenke's TV station caters for people who actually enjoy killing or watching others kill.

Kroenke & the junior Trumps kill for trophy photos, planting their cowardly jackbooted foot on the face of a beautiful wild animal and hanging the sordid results in their office & lounge to brag.

This isn't killing for food. Nor is it death as an unintended consequence.

Big game hunting is about stupid rich people getting their rocks off by killing "canned" animals, majestic wild creatures trapped for some limp dicked idiot with an inferiority complex to slaughter in the most cowardly fashion possible.

I'd ban Kroenke from the UK for this atrocity.

I think I agree with @WorcesterTHFC and @Gb160 on the key difference. I don't think that someone who eats meat, watches hunt racing and poisons vermin, but abhors fox hunting and bullfighting has a faulty moral compass. That's more or less where mine is calibrated.

But it's worth acknowledging that one's moral perspective on animal rights can be a tad arbitrary or self-serving, especially when getting really cross with someone else on the matter. And if, like @yanno, you think it's relevant that the offender is rich, or the animal is "majestic", you're definitely over-reliant on emotional reactions.
