Unfortunate deflection and a soft penalty just like Brentford only Brentford created other chances too the goons didn't.
Damn I hoped we'd get the win after our second but I'm still absolutely chuffed with our performance we stuck to our game and we are getting better all the time.
Only positives to take from that.
Such a shame the luck ran with them because they had nothing much else going forward really.
Udogie rewrote the script against Saka much as commentors seemed loathe to admit it.

They have a good team. No point denyng that. No real weakness in defence. A good midfield I just think that the focal point up front needs improvement. Toney would be a great purchase for them (and us)..
I was just expecting a lot more today from those players

Still feel like I've had two double espressos.

:geek:

Once i've calmed down, i will reflect on a team that scored two great goals and could've easily had more (Johnson's mishit being the prime opportunity)
Against a team that were apparently going to "destroy" us when all they could muster was an OG and a dodgy pen.

I'm inclined to agree with neville about the romero og. Him sticking a leg out just looked desperate. He is normally good at blocking with chest out and arms to his side/behind his back so hopefully this was just an isolated action

Also the space we gave sake would not happen when the players become more familiar

Jesus missed what is essentially a sitter when he robbed Maddison in our box. If that was Saka it's likely 2-0.

Van de Ven is going to be a new fan favourite. So composed. Really like him.

Having a great striker in football is always great. Having a playmaker like Maddison is wonderful. Nothing beats having a CB that you know is going to make the right decision every time.

I've literally actually had two double espressos so just imagine how I feel!

I love the football we play.

So brave at the back to draw men in and fizz balls in between the lines where Biss, Saar, Maddison, Udogie and Porro pop up to get turned and spring attacks.

Thanks Ange.

Well pleased with that result and performance, especially away from home. Have to say, the penalty, I’d be looking that if it was the other way around so not too annoyed about that . 2 brilliant finishes from Son also .

Want to get into that other thread tomorrow and see what those flukey twats are saying now after their arrogance. At home and rely on an o.g. and dodgy pen. Deserved to win that. Long live I'm a hipster ball ! COYS!
