Yeah we're gonna get a red here one way or another. I just hope it's for booting Saka out of the ground.

Seeing how this is almost the perfect style of football for the goons to play against we've done well, really poor defensive error and nervy young players aside it's been good, this was never going to be easy.
Also, the refs a ****

Haven't imposed ourselves on this so far.
We have been a bit sloppy in possession.
Both keepers have made crucial saves.
Saka's shot/ cross wasn't going in
so we might consider ourselves
Johnson looks a bit lost understandably
and probably should have scored
but that's what keepers are for.
Even Ramsdale applauded.

Its not ridiculous. Its a big part of how the manager wants to play and we'll gain far more from it in the long run than we'll lose, even with the inevitable couple of goals we'll end up conceding because of it and the inevitable 'banter' we'll get as a result.
It's ridiculous they way we play it. We are far to casual and always look like losing it. City do it all the time but look very comfortable doing it. I'm not saying just boot it up the field anywhere but play it out up the field not across our goal every time.

Romero and a few other are taking too many touches, which is putting other players under pressure when they finally get it.

We've been much better in second halves of games this season so hopefully that continues
This is a way of creating space (but i agree they're taking it to the extreme)
By drawing a man in it means that there is space elsewhere.
It has created space, we just haven't found the man in space enough, but when we have it gets us going forward at pace.

We've shown our inexperience in big games, but I loved the resilience. It's only going to be the making of these lads.

Thought we controlled the first 15, thought they controlled the second, the last 15 felt a little more even.

They’ve scored a goal from a huge deflection. We responded with a good goal of our own.

Vicario made a great save from Jesus, Raya made a decent save from Johnson - despite it being ramped up into a wonder save, but it was in the middle of the goal where Johnson didn’t get hold of it.

Silly yellow cards are a pain, and we know this ref has demonstrated this season to not be prem level.

Completely in this game, and I’m not seeing this narrative sky are painting where we’ve been weak and dominated by the Harlem globe trotters.

That's not been the narrative. They rightly said that we'd deserved to be losing but that we finished strongly and turned the tide.

We’ve caused our own problems that half. Some shocking passing decisions.

Johnson off. Hoping he’s just nervous but he’s been a passenger.

That's a very British approach, with respect. At some points just getting rid will be the only solution but generally trying to actually keep possession and draw out the other team will be the better play.
It also discourages players from playing this way in future.

We are going to play this way, except at Arsenal or Liverpool when under pressure.

Players then doubt it and lose belief in it.

Arsenal expended a lot of energy pressing that half and don't have much depth on their bench. They are going to come out very aggressive to get their 2nd goal after the break.

Richarlison, PEH, and Solomon as subs, coupled with them tiring, could be enough to win this late if we can hold off conceding the first 15 minutes of the second half.
Yeah but that’s how they play, we need to just keep probing and moving forward, when we do that we look dangerous

Bissouma has had some issues, but it's also the strongest press we've faced so far this season. Ødegaard running like wild and they stand high.

Would rather risk keeping Udogie on than downgrading to Davies. Wingbacks are super.

Sarr would be the one I'd take off. Not worried about the players on yellows, but more the ref with the cards.
